Can anyone recommend night time teas or teas good for daytime relaxation?

I have a lot of stressors in my life atm ans need to get a handle on my anxiety- I am doing meditations, exercise etc but could do with cutting out some caffeine and was thinking about herbal teas that were good for sleep and some that would be good for during the day at work.
Any brands that you would recommend/ avoid?
ThanksSmile

Camomile

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 12/07/2020 18:16

This one tastes very nice and I find it effective (and I'm not easily knocked out).

StarDanced · 12/07/2020 18:18

I would second camomile. I wasn't a fan in the past but I now try and drink a camomile tea each evening and I squeeze the juice half a lemon in and add honey. I find it is very good and provides a nice relaxation in the evening.

Lemon balm tea has always worked for me

clairethewitch70 · 12/07/2020 18:22

Camomile or lemon balm. Or Pukka Peace tea

ThreeLeggedCat · 12/07/2020 18:23

Bedtime brew by Yorkshire Tea.

clairethewitch70 · 12/07/2020 18:24

Brand wise, I find Floradix a good choice

CaveMum · 12/07/2020 18:27

I drink the Pukka Night Time Tea. Valerian is the key ingredient for a good relaxing tea in my experience.

Sgtmajormummy · 12/07/2020 18:32

Chamomile on its own makes me feel quite nauseous (I often drink tea on an empty stomach) but this is a mixture with lavender and lemon balm.

Impatientwino · 12/07/2020 18:36

Pukka night time tea is lovely.

poorbuthappy · 12/07/2020 18:40

For daytime relaxation I love Aldi's decaf green tea.

doodleygirl · 12/07/2020 18:44

Pukka night time. You can buy a mix box if pukka tea bags which means you can taste a few

Talisin · 12/07/2020 18:45

I like Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime

BigButtons · 12/07/2020 18:55

Am quite happy to get a few and what what worksSmile

Sleepy time is lovely! Didn't know they still made that. Any blend with chamomile also

I find things with mint/fennel good for day time as they help with digestion so by bed time my stomach isn't bloated

AlwaysColdHands · 12/07/2020 22:31

Definitely pukka night time tea (seasoned insomniac recommendation)

Bagelsandbrie · 12/07/2020 22:32

Tick tick Red Bush tea. I drink it with milk (soya in my case) and sugar just like normal tea and it’s very nice but without the caffeine.

Bagelsandbrie · 12/07/2020 22:33

Sorry that should say Tick Tock. Roobius I think it’s called!

HowFastIsTooFast · 12/07/2020 22:33

Another vote for Pukka Night time tea!

21NewNames · 12/07/2020 22:37

Twinings do a nice chamomile and spearmint tea. You can’t really taste the chamomile and the mint is soft rather than harsh. I have a cup next to me right now!

RomaineCalm · 12/07/2020 22:38

The Twinings 'Sleep' tea is also lovely.

R0llonspring · 12/07/2020 22:52

Teapigs 'Calm' Tea has relaxing / sleepy properties we find help us. It contains Valerian.

CupoTeap · 12/07/2020 22:59

I like mint in the day

iffymiffy · 12/07/2020 23:11

Another vote for Pukka Night Time here. I also like their vanilla chai one.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 12/07/2020 23:12

Lemon balm is lovely, very calming and also anti viral, so really good right now.

Grows like a weed.
