I didn’t realise it was her thirtieth birthday. I thought she was twenty nine.
I’d got her a normal birthday card, (not realising obviously) and have some money (she can transfer the money into her bank account), but I need something else.
Flowers were another option, but dh thinks it’ll look like a ‘oops I’d forgotten’ present.
We were (are) planning to see her later, but no concrete plans were/have been made.
I could kill my sister for not warning us in advance, but we should have realised ourselves.
So, please please please help me.
