Garlic & coriander naan with lasagna - yes or no?

BonestoBones · 01/07/2020 17:51

I'm using things up for dinner. I have lasagna, salad etc but I know DP will ask for garlic bread. Do I use the naans? I'm not going to the shop either.

I would

WhatHaveIFound · 01/07/2020 17:52

If you're using up then yes. Otherwise it would be an absolute no!

Destroyedpeople · 01/07/2020 17:53

Brit fusion....why not?

No - unless you DP won’t notice? Wink

Saucery · 01/07/2020 17:53

Yes, if they are going to go to waste otherwise.

BonestoBones · 01/07/2020 17:54

Naans have a good shelf life. DP has a manual job and likes his carbs but I have run out of time. The naans it is Grin

Go for it, unless they don’t like coriander..

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/07/2020 18:02

Urgh, no!

wizzbangfizz · 01/07/2020 18:05

Absolutely not

endofacentury · 01/07/2020 18:06

I would it'll be fine!

AnathemaPulsifer · 01/07/2020 18:21

I’d add extra garlic butter to it.

IsAnybodyListening · 01/07/2020 18:22

Do it. Cut them into strips. If you have some olive oil and balsamic, drizzle over and good to go.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 01/07/2020 18:22

No

Thesuzle · 01/07/2020 18:22

Yuck

Redwinestillfine · 01/07/2020 18:23

Lasagne naan butties! Awesome.

TheDogsMother · 01/07/2020 18:23

No definitely not. Indian Italian fusion ???? Freeze your Naan for another day and get yourself a nice garlic bread instead.

GreyGardens88 · 01/07/2020 18:26

Yes, I use naan bread as a pizza base sometimes

QueSera · 01/07/2020 18:29

I love lasagne and I love garlic/coriander naan. But there is no way I would mix the two. The lasagne and coriander together would just seem wrong.

But if your DH won't mind, why not? Especially if the naans were going to go off otherwise.

bluevioletcrimsonsky · 01/07/2020 18:29

I would if it was just garlic, but with coriander, no.

devildeepbluesea · 01/07/2020 18:30

Why not, it's bread and garlicky. Wouldn't go out and buy to eat together but if you have it in 🤷

AnneKipanki · 01/07/2020 18:30

I would. I love a bit of fusion.

sohypnotic · 01/07/2020 18:32

Chips instead?

Alexandernevermind · 01/07/2020 18:33

I would. I like to use coriander in Italian type tomato and basil based dishes anyway.

Doje · 01/07/2020 18:34

Oddly enough we've just has garlic bread with our curry because I didn't have any naan!

If I'd have known earlier we could have swapped.

Bettysprocker · 01/07/2020 18:34

No. Coriander is evil and destroys everything it touches.
