How does Tess Daly look so good?

Hi,

Just that really.

She doesn't just look "good for her age" (sorry Confused ) She could pass for 20 years younger, easily! Is she really 51?!

She doesn't look like she has any work done either. Is she just incredibly blessed with amazing genes or did she visit Isabella Rossellini and drink the magic serum? 🤔

She looks good, but I don't envy her one bit waking up every morning to that twat of a husband.

Mawbags · 14/06/2020 18:09

@MellowBird85
I wanna hear about your mum’s facelift!!!
Did it work
Was it worth it
How
Does she look now?!

Pedallleur · 14/06/2020 18:17

Money. Buys all the things to take the pressure off in normal life. In the TV bubble so her face/figure is her fortune. Sadly, that's the way it is. I would imagine she is always looking over her shoulder for the next young presenter.

ivykaty44 · 14/06/2020 18:22

Who really cares though? Do we care if someone puts injections into their face or whatever?

Some people wear fake tan, others have jabs - it’s the same thing but different levels

If it makes her feel good all well and good but if she’s doing it to keep working then that’s sad and a reflection on society

BlancheDuBlah · 14/06/2020 18:24

Sorry OP but I think she looks exactly her age with lots of surgery and a few tweaks.

Not having a go at her at all, lots of her contemporaries do, and must be difficult when whatsisname is chasing natural glamour models.

I don't know why she sticks with him tbh. He's average looking himself.

Badmemorieshouse · 14/06/2020 18:26

I think she’s beautiful, but her husband is a twat and she must have really low self esteem to stay with him after how much he’s humiliated her

MellowBird85 · 14/06/2020 18:35

@Mawbags

a) Yes it worked.
b) Yes she’s over the moon and says it’s the best thing she ever did.
c) She looks a damn sight less tired and much more ‘refreshed’! She was starting to get very pronounced marionette lines and it’s really sorted them out.

HTH Grin

Quirrelsotherface · 14/06/2020 18:46

I was shocked when I read how old she was, she does look fantastic. I mentioned to a friend though who had seen her in RL and apparently she does look her age close up.
Meh, she's an extremely successful woman in a hard to make it field, she hasn't got there by being a quiet wallflower. A celebrity who talks about themselves a lot, what a surprise Hmm

dayswithaY · 14/06/2020 18:54

One thing puzzles me about Tess is that Strictly seems to be the only work she gets, you don't see her all year until she pops up in August then disappears again once it's over, Claudia gets loads of work in comparison.

NoseHair · 14/06/2020 19:03

Money, Botox, money, exercise, money, surgery, money, Botox. And then a bit of facetune and photoshop for her instagram etc.

She looks good but it ain’t natural.

Devlesko · 14/06/2020 19:05

Lots of money, no stress.

peaceanddove · 14/06/2020 19:11

She was a model so has great posture and good bone structure and good genes. From the middle distance she looks flawless but up close her face looks a bit too fixed and taut.

Pratnav · 14/06/2020 19:24

Having said that about Ms. Daly, I looked the husband up online as well, and this is what I found:

Yuck.

How does Tess Daly look so good?
Fluffycloudland77 · 14/06/2020 19:53

Must’ve been pretty stressful when the dh was contacting Rhian.

Mawbags · 14/06/2020 19:58

@MellowBird85

Thanks

I am actually saving up for one already
47 loads of stress
A facelift = 5 or 6 years of Botox so we’ll worth it I reckon

Mawbags · 14/06/2020 19:59

Anyway Tess yes lucky cow but imagine the anxiety every time an wrinkle appears!

peaceanddove · 14/06/2020 20:07

I'm amazed she stayed with him after it all came out about his sexting other women. I remember she was just on the brink of bringing out a glossy lifestyle book and a soft furnishings line with M&S I think? That all got pulled very quickly it would have been a big blow to her career.

EvilPea · 14/06/2020 20:20

I did feel sorry for her when that came out about vernon. She had just released a book about having a family and was doing promo stuff for it. And it hit the papers.

Poor woman.

ShirleyPhallus · 15/06/2020 10:47

I don’t follow her on Instagram but have just looked her up. Her photos are really badly edited, you can clearly see where she blurs the lines (mostly around the cheeks / under eyes / around the nose)

She still looks amazing but could benefit from going on a photoshop course

areyoubeingserviced · 15/06/2020 11:17

Tess, probably has had a bit of work done, but she still looks great.
Btw, there are women in their late forties and fifties who look quite youthful. It’s called good genes . Not every one has cosmetic surgery and they don’t all have lots of money.

Obviouspretzel · 15/06/2020 12:04

Just had a look at her insta and I think she could easily pass for thirties

FirstClassFlightHome · 19/06/2020 20:57

I just had a look at her Insta. She looks very young. Much younger than, say, Kylie, who in spite of lots of work, still looks her age.

WinnieWonder · 20/06/2020 11:37

Kylie had cancer and recovered. I hope kylie is not on that futile stay young forever hampster wheel.

PuppyMonkey · 20/06/2020 11:56

Tess is one of those women who seem to attract a lot of haters on here and on Twitter (eg when Strictly is on and everyone comments about how terrible and wooden she is at presenting). I've never really understood it. Confused

I mean I'm not saying I think she is the most wonderful celebrity ever, but she seems a perfectly ok person at her job to me and looks well, despite being made to wear some of the weirdest dresses I've ever seen for Strictly.

Same with Keira Knightley - everyone always going on about how she can't act and is awful. I don't see it, she's always been perfectly fine in anything I've watched. I'm not a big fan, but I don't get the vitriol for some women.

NewNewt · 20/06/2020 12:02

I attended an event where she was the celeb endorser person. This was about 6 years ago. I have no idea how old she is/was but in person, sat across from her for several housr, she looked mid/late forties then. Very polished and groomed but in no way could she have passed as thirties. She was rude, disinterested and divaish, until it came time for her turn, when a switch flicked and she suddenly became jolly, enthusiastic and friendly. It was weird.
