How does Tess Daly look so good?

Just that really.

She doesn't just look "good for her age" (sorry ) She could pass for 20 years younger, easily! Is she really 51?!

She doesn't look like she has any work done either. Is she just incredibly blessed with amazing genes or did she visit Isabella Rossellini and drink the magic serum? 🤔

Money. She can afford the best skincare, treatments, childcare, exercise and diet. Her image is her livelihood.

She does look fab

I have dealings with her in RL.

She’s a great laugh and laughs at herself too, she’s fab.

Her hands are a give-away though....they do look her real age.

I got mixed up and was thinking of Tess Holliday. Came on to say her skin gets airbrushed a lot in the professional photos and read the thread with increasing confusion!

Had to google Tess Daly but I don't think she looks that young.

She’s always looked younger than she was. Years ago when she was on Children’s TV I was surprised to learn she in her 30’s because I assumed she was in her early 20’s.

Some people are blessed with good genes.

I don't personally think she is that pretty or young looking. Attractiveish she looks in her late 40s.

I think she’s lovely. For some reason she is not popular on here.

Botox can deal with the wrinkles in the upper part of the face but not the skin laxity, sagging and jowls in the lower face. They're the real age giveaway. You're in to mini face-lift and filler territory then. I think she looks great, although I suspect mid face and jawline filler has been used. She's still a v attractive woman though.

Yes. I think quite often in mid-40s onwards just Botox isn’t enough and can look unnatural as you have a smooth forehead with slightly sagging jawline/start of jowls. The face doesn’t match up and looks odd.

I’ve heard an argument that to look more natural you actually have to have Botox and fillers together. Then you get a lift from the fillers to match the smooth skin from the Botox.

Or you do neither! My current option, however I’m tempted as she does look good. She lives quite near me so I’m wondering where she has it done.

Good genes really help as well. I remember reading an interview with her from about 10 years ago and she was very against Botox. Easy to say that in early 40s though...

She can’t possibly have skin that smooth at 51 without some help.

She’s def had the full works tho - botox / fillers, facelift, chemical peel, spray tan, extensions and makeup / styled up to the nines. Same as Amanda Holden.

Amanda Holden looks more overdone though? Her work is very obvious. I think Tess’s is less so but that’s personal opinion.

I think she probably has a bit of help, but not that much. Do people honestly think facelift ! Or just being bitchy?

Biggest thing is she has always maintained a slim figure. Never underestimate the ageing factor of yo-yo dieting.

Even if she has had work done, it's very natural and I think she is absolutely stunning.

If my 56 year old working class mother can have a facelift, she definitely has! No one is immune to gravity. Good genes my eye. It doesn’t mean you end up looking like Joan Collins, they can be subtle and just put things back to where they were when you were 35.

A slim figure will not prevent the face from sagging and nobody is immune. It happens to us all.

Mind you treatments like radio frequency, lasers, Ultherapy can help tighten the skin and stimulate collagen. There are so many good treatments out there.

So maybe no facelift but loads of treatments and a bit of filler.

Good old Mumsnet. Having read this thread, I was forced to Google Tess Daly as I wasn't sure who she was. She has evidently had an awful lot of cosmetic surgery, which doesn't do her any favours. She looks like one of those high-maintenance but rather dim and very common women who drive a 4x4 that they can't reverse without help.

that is just young ~ so either young or fake
Lean and toned?
Have the time to exercise for several hours a day
Slim ?
Can afford to eat healthily and not be stressed

Lets start basing perceptions on REAL people

If you compare her pics on google image to her insta, it is clear she has touched her insta pics up. She has eye and mouth lines on the papped pics.
She still looks very good for her age though, she could pass for early 40s.
