pollyskettles - are you sure that's not foxes? I've never seen a cat dump on a lawn and out neighbourhood is heaving with cats who all hang out with our tom. They poo in our flowerbeds (but bury it) but only the foxes dump on the lawn.

I see the neighbours cat in the garden but never a fox so I don't know. I do know it's very foul smelling and disgusting when you go out barefoot and tread in it. I'm often up late and in the garden so I think I'd see a fox from time to time.
