You're right about dogs and cats and wrong about popcorn. As for sport - do you mean doing sport yourself is a waste of time and money, or professional sport as a spectacle is a waste of time and money? I'm not interested in sport, but it makes people healthier if they do it, and helps keep the economy going when they pay to watch it!

I love SCones (not scon), jam first then cream. I don't like bread much though, and a bread roll is a bread roll, but all bread has to be turned into toast to make it edible.

Ugh, salted popcorn is an utter crime. My sister used to make it in the microwave when we were teenagers and stink up the whole bottom floor.

Jam goes first, no question. Otherwise the cream squishes everywhere when you try and spread the jam (cos you have to have the whole pot of clotted cream, obviously).

@pollyskettles - are you sure that's not foxes? I've never seen a cat dump on a lawn and out neighbourhood is heaving with cats who all hang out with our tom. They poo in our flowerbeds (but bury it) but only the foxes dump on the lawn.
