DH and I strip and remake at the same time. New covers go on as the others go in the washing basket. Isn't that the norm?

Yes, same, it is never one of those jobs you remember. I wash my bedding, dry and put the same back on, albeit much later, and much resented!

Every time! I do it every single time! I should set a reminder on my phone to remake the bed before 11pm.

Awful - story of my life everytime without fail....

It’s a pain, that’s why I remake the bed straight after I’ve taken the old covers off, otherwise I’d go to bed as it is because I switch off any housework by 8pm 😂

I still haven't stuffed my duvet in the cover from last week! I did the bottom sheet and pillowcases, bit have been using just the cover on top. I'm a slattern. I will rewash tomorrow and make properly as the temps are due to fall again. Probably.

We're better at remembering these days, however. Back in the day we'd forget every week!

This is the main cause of argument for me and DH. He absolutely loathes making the bed at the best of times and is so grumpy when we discover it at bedtime.
