So here’s part 2 (which is crazy to me)

There isn’t really an update as such I should hear today or tomorrow regarding a scan. I’ve got the MW again on Thursday and I suppose this week will be the week of grand reveals.

I’m sorry if I disappear for a day at a time I’m still trying to wrap my own head around this.

When they're meant to be, they're meant to be. You've 9 weeks to adjust. Loads of time! I found 9 months way too long lol (and dd was 10 days early). So look on it as a positive that you'll be so busy now for the next 9 weeks, that you won't have all the usual worries.

So good to know you have support and thank you for thd update. Some of us are genuinely interested and believe you (especially sad old sods like me on lockdown who are losing the will 😕) and am thinking that fate had a funny way of sorting things 😉

I can't remember if you're self-employed, but if not you should let your employer know the circumstances as well ASAP.

I am sorry you have a few people on here giving you a hard time-it’s not necessary and you seem nothing but genuine to me ❤️ Enjoy the next few months. The baby days fly past. My five month old seems to be getting so big so quickly and I miss those distant tiny baby days terribly

How exciting :) Glad scan went well. BTW if you have a late August baby (I have one) be aware that it will actually be autumn by the time you emerge from the newborn bubble. I had bought loads of summer stuff thinking I'd have this huge need to keep the baby cool and actually didn't use most of it because it was almost immediately autumn and we needed warmer stuff.

Great news. And well done telling your Mum too. Nine weeks is still a fair amount of time to get used to the idea. After all, you've already processed a lot in these last two weeks!
