There isn’t really an update as such I should hear today or tomorrow regarding a scan. I’ve got the MW again on Thursday and I suppose this week will be the week of grand reveals.

I’m sorry if I disappear for a day at a time I’m still trying to wrap my own head around this.

I really do wish you all the luck in the world. It's easy for people on here to get all excited and forget it's your real life and not a soap opera.
This baby is a blessing (they all are) but might well be putting you into a very difficult position financially and career wise.

OP I really admire your steady resilience, you sound like you are coping with a crazy situation very rationally and calmly. You sound awesome.

Heard from hospital but as they’re running on skeleton staff I’ve got an appointment for next Wed. She has put me on a cancellation list though. I haven’t told anyone. I can’t find the words, I’m scared people will think I’m lying about not knowing. Or that I’m stupid for not realising. FWB gets back tonight at some point so that’s a conversation I can’t ignore for much longer 😫

It's shocking that the hospital won't scan you sooner! Just Incase you were further along than you thought.

I'm a midwife and if someone came in your situation you would be scanned immediately!

Are you going to book a private scan in the meantime? A week is a long wait!

Sorry to hear about the delay for the scan, that can't be helpful. For what it's worth, you sound like a really sorted, level headed person and a responsible, caring parent. I think you and your wee family are going to be just fine in the long term, despite the massive headfuckage of the current situation. Hang in there.
