Dusty pink linen

I love cotton bedding and rather fond of vintage style patterns. I love the V&A range.

The highest thread count I could afford in cream. From John Lewis.

PineconeOfDoom · 23/05/2020 22:54

I got this recently, it looks and feels lovely.

Thelnebriati · 23/05/2020 23:03

I did try a high thread count cotton and I hated it. Its so noisy, turning over in bed was like walking in a cagoul. I like polycotton for summer and cotton flannel in winter.

Sparklingbrook · 23/05/2020 23:05

The high thread count reminds me of being at a hotel. Grin

White
100% cotton
concealed buttons not studs.

JL's Croft collection.

I have soft and silky Egyptian cotton 400tc from Jon Lewis and they are so soft and definitely like silk without being slippy. I have the duvet cover and 2 pillow cases in navy blue and the bottom sheet and other 2 pillows in icy blue.

They do other colours. I would definitely recommend.

I like a nice neutral fairly plain colour. Currently ive got a grey and white set that we bought in Debenhams sale. With my grey gravity blanket and lighter grey scatter cushions.

DonLewis · 23/05/2020 23:08

My duvet cover ripped in the wash. I got a cheap set from M and S to replace it and I've been really pleased with it, a grey geometric print.

Crabbo · 23/05/2020 23:11

I always get plain white. Always matches and you never go off it. You can just change the look with a throw or extra pillows.

VenusClapTrap · 23/05/2020 23:13

Another linen set from Piglet in Bed. I recently bought the sage colour and it’s lovely; I wouldn’t mind a second set. Not sure which colour I’d go for though.

Aposterhasnoname · 23/05/2020 23:15

Plain white high count cotton, or bamboo. Bloody love my bamboo bedding.

FizzyPink · 23/05/2020 23:17

I really want to try some bamboo bedding
But always white

BuffaloCauliflower · 23/05/2020 23:19

I have this and I love it, I’d buy another set so I can have one on and one in the wash rather than having to do a mad all in one day off/wash/on system

I got a high thread count cotton sateen set from dunelm and I hate it. It feels almost crispy even after being washed multiple times.

The Gaspa stuff from IKEA was wonderful and the replacement wasn't a patch on it.

missingmum · 23/05/2020 23:24

@BuffaloCauliflower that colour is beautiful, I want to order it now as just about to paint our bedroom white.

If money were no object I'd get pure silk

Best duvet set I got was from Homebase about 6 years ago,

namechangenumber2 · 23/05/2020 23:25

Bought a new set for DS new year time which has been great. He's a sweaty 16 year old Envy, so it requires at least a couple of washes a week and is holding up well - non bobbly, kept its colour and softness

Lardlizard · 23/05/2020 23:26

Here I like this

Was meant to add, it's from Matalan

Shmithecat2 · 23/05/2020 23:34

I always look at La Redoute first, their bedding is beautiful.
