Old fashioned Jonquils. Followed by old fashioned Freesias.

I love tulips. I’ve got a big bunch of them on my dining room table - all different colours and they look gorgeous. Cheer me up everytime I walk past them.
I also love iris’s...that deep purple Grin

Peonies and sunflowers.

Peonies are elegant and have gorgeous colouring and variations, but sunflowers are just so unashamedly happy they always make me smile! Grin

Tulips, but especially the red ones.

Aria20 · 22/05/2020 15:09

@Lailaloo747 tulips are my favourites too!

Stabbitha · 22/05/2020 15:11

Gerberas. Love them.

Martysmarvellousmeals · 22/05/2020 15:12

I like lots of different flowers and always have them in the house.

Peonies are lovely, love the smell of yellow Freesias, Sea Holly (can they be called flowers?).

Some old fashioned big blousey roses.

But for some reason Sunflowers are evil looking flowers, a totally irrational thought

Grandadwasthatyou · 22/05/2020 15:13

Freesia, you don't see them around so much now. And freshly picked sweet peas.

feelinghopeful2 · 22/05/2020 15:15

White tulips or peonies

NietzschePeachPearPlum · 22/05/2020 15:16

Roses and gardenias.

And the smell of hyacinth!

Purpletigers · 22/05/2020 15:17

Yellow roses, forget me nots , bluebells , snowdrops . Anything Daisy like in the garden and tall willowy cottage garden type flowers like delphiniums .

Firefretted · 22/05/2020 15:24

Martys Totally agree re sunflowers! I think it's the black void in the middle where the soul should be - it makes them look sinister! I love snapdragons, foxgloves, bridal crown narcissus and delicate, creamy roses. Adore flowers and would love to learn more about about growing and floristry

Firefretted · 22/05/2020 15:24

Great thread idea op!
