Mine is Hugo Boss. Ex boyfriend wore it. Tried to break up with him before we both went to uni, but he begged and cried so I agreed to give a LDR a go. 3 weeks later he slept with a girl in the flat above in halls. The scent still makes me angry!!

Not a perfume but the scent of Palmolive bath foam the almond milk one. immediately takes me back to having a bath to ease sunburn while on Holiday in Tenerife, it was the week that Princess Di died. All these years later I can still picture the bathroom and a mere whiff of it brings back the emotions that I felt at the time too.

Kouros aftershave. Very nice memories indeed. Blush

Honeybee85 · 11/05/2020 13:04

Jean Paul Classique instantly transfers me back to being 20 years old and spending days and days in bed with my much older Italian long distance lover.

Great memories.

Calvin Klein Escape, reminds of the one who got away.

VioletBlueBug · 11/05/2020 13:09

Anais Anais. Reminds me of my Mum.

happymummy12345 · 11/05/2020 13:09

Angel is my favourite perfume. I wear it on all special occasions, the most important being my wedding day. I have loads of good memories of it.

Leobynature · 11/05/2020 13:13

Gucci rush, all of us wore it at school. It reminds be of misspent youth. It’s still lovely now but I think it’s strange when I smell it on a grown woman. Coco channel reminds me of my mom.

ParkheadParadise · 11/05/2020 13:16

Chanel No5
It reminds me of my mum. She always told us that it was her favourite perfume but after 6 kids she couldn't afford to buy it anymore.
When we were all older i would always buy her it for birthdays/christmas she loved it.
When she took ill with dementia and was in the care home i kept a bottle in my bag and would always give her a spray of it when I would visit her.
Her face would light and she would tell us it was her favourite perfume.

Estée Lauder Beautiful, I wore it throughout the 90s and 00s

mumofone2818 · 11/05/2020 13:16

armani diamonds, reminds me of being 15 and drinking on the streets, use to spray half a bottle onmyself before going home so my mum wouldn't smell the drink Blush cannot stomach the smell of it now haha

Therealfatshady · 11/05/2020 13:18

There's Hermes Eau de Merveille puts me straight back in bed with a guy I lusted over for such a long time! It didn't work out but the memory is still an excellent one...

Eden! Reminds me of the 90’s along with CK one.
Body shop white musk, dewberry and fuzzy peach remind me of school.

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 11/05/2020 13:20

Issey Miyake the one in the pointy bottle. 90s clubbing!

Tigger001 · 11/05/2020 13:21

Angel, reminds me of my beautiful mum, I lost her 2 years ago and missing her so much through lockdown, so I keep having a little sniff to make me smile.

LuxuryWoman2020 · 11/05/2020 13:22

Eden here too, I thought it was gorgeous when I was younger. Fahrenheit for men if it still exists reminds me of an old boyfriend, I can still conjure up the smell.

Tigger001 · 11/05/2020 13:23

Oh and whenever I smell joop, it takes me back to being a teenager with my first boyfriend Smile

NotaFreeloader · 11/05/2020 13:24

Ironically Clinique ‘happy’
Makes me anything but as it was a what I wore around the time I lost my first baby. Never wore it ever again after that. Odd how much a smell can take you back somewhere, it takes me from whatever mood I’m in to utter devastation and floods of tears if I ever smell it now

newlabelwriter · 11/05/2020 13:27

Kourous takes me back to boyfriends in the Eighties!

TheCanterburyWhales · 11/05/2020 13:28

Anaïs Anaïs takes me to a bedroom in a Spanish student flat in the 1980s. It's still my comfort food perfume though I'd never wear it "outwardly". I often put a tiny drop on the back of my hand just for my nose only.
Chanel 19 was what my friend sharing the same flat was wearing so that takes me to the same place.

Ted Lapidus Creation would I think make me physically sick as it takes me to a different memory.

Caleche is my Mum.

ItsSpittingEverybodyIn · 11/05/2020 13:28

Acqua di gio reminds me of being young and carefree.
White musk reminds me of secondary school!

Therealfatshady · 11/05/2020 13:30

Bodyshop dewberry - reminds me of school also!

ilovemydogandMrObama · 11/05/2020 13:30

Caleche - my mother...

But rather annoyingly, after a visit my MIL asked my mom what scent it was so now she wears it. Hmm

MotherOfAllZipFiles · 11/05/2020 13:30

youth dew Estee Lauder reminds me of my nan, I worshiped her, I still miss her everyday
