There's a report in our local press of a fire at a holiday park, with arson suspected. My immediate thought was "Jack Jellyhead!!"

Ds took me to the seaside this afternoon for a walk in the sea air. Lovely! Smile

That sounds lovely. Smile

Oh and I got you some flour this morning @petalpower! Plain and self-raising. Smile

Perfect! You are a Star

elephantoverthehill · 02/06/2020 16:22

Hi FuzzyPuffling are you near me on an island on the south of England?

SoMuchToBits · 02/06/2020 16:32

I think Fuzzy lives in the West.

Omg this thread is addictive and strangely calming ...

SoMuchToBits · 02/06/2020 16:44

I could do with some help in suggesting some more scenarios. Preferably that I can do with sets I already have (I could order more, but they would take a few days to arrive).

School ones might be difficult, as I don't have an actual school (only the school gym and a few small sets).

In which case Jack Jellyhead has been doing the rounds.

Katinski · 02/06/2020 17:36

Could there be some sort of village fete/gathering in the park? I've got an abiding memory of girls dancing in a ring (with their handbags, of course)Wink
That was such a happy time(sigh)
There could be cakes for sale...mmmm, cakes
And tea. Lots and lots of tea.
And Spot could eat cake crumbsGrin

petalpower · 02/06/2020 17:49

How about some socially distanced/no spectator sports? Golf and tennis can be played. People can go sailing. Horse racing has just started. Football is starting later this month. Depends which sets you’ve got of course!
Have any of the furloughed Playmo people gone back to work yet?
Can’t remember if you’ve done any beach scenes recently too.

SoMuchToBits · 02/06/2020 17:50

The girls dancing round handbags was at the royal wedding evening do! And I think the most likely dog to be eating the crumbs is Apollo... Grin

Ooh, sports is a good idea! And sailing/kayaking.

Do you have any Playmo Zoo? I’d love to know how the penguins are doing - some zoos have been taking them on expeditions!

SoMuchToBits · 02/06/2020 20:00

No Playmo zoo. We do have farm animals, forest animals and various pets.

SnugglySnerd · 02/06/2020 20:02

I'm trying to think of some ideas but I have no imagination whatsoever! Car show rooms are open now aren't they so maybe something to do with cars??

FuzzyPuffling · 02/06/2020 20:14

elephant I'm in Cornwall. There are Jack Jellyheads everywhere. In fact it is now a synonym for A Foolishly Behaved Young Man in our house!

FuzzyPuffling · 02/06/2020 20:19

There's been a lot of grass cutting here with a lots of tractors and farm machinery on the roads. Do you have tractors?

There's also been a lot of rescues on the beach (Jack and his chums tombstoning?) with helicopters and rescue boats.

But oh...you HAVE to do this one....Today a young deer was picked up by a fishing boat. It was swimming a mile offshore (Probably fallen off a cliff) and being chased by a seal. It was rescued, and popped under a blanket on the boat and taken back to shore, but managed to injure he RSPCA bloke. After a checkover, it was successfully and happily released back into the woods.

SoMuchToBits · 02/06/2020 20:23

I have a tractor but not much other farm machinery. Do have deer, but no seal... but maybe a dolphin?

And am Grin at the Jack Jellyheads in your house!

I need some vets on farm ideas from @derxa . I'd like to feature the farm a bit more.

Oh those pudding heads. I hope they’re locked up for a good while. All this dry weather we’ve having (I presume Playmo land has also had a dry spell) could have meant those fires got very serious.
If the nice weather continues will the good people of playmo land be having socially distant walks in the park?

QueenMabby · 02/06/2020 21:13

Sorry - the thread had moved one before I posted and I didn’t realise.
Sorry to hear about your Aunt SoMuch. I hope you get to go to the funeral.
