Thanks to everyone who commented on part 1. Here is part 2!

Did I miss what's being built? Is it luxury apartments (or luxury shoeboxes, which spring up all the time round my way)?

SoMuchToBits · 30/05/2020 12:39

I'm not too sure bridget, as we never had any sets with half-constructed buildings. Unlike sets like this which are more recent, and we don't have.

Maybe it's another Nightingale hospital. Sad

SoMuchToBits · 30/05/2020 16:56

Probably not, as the Playmo hospitals have been coping quite well with the pandemic. Smile

Anyone else for a bit of Playmo? I'm thinking of bringing this thread to a close fairly soon. Partly because the lockdown is starting to be eased, and it will be harder to find appropriate scenes to post. But also, not many people are replying, so I think it's not worth setting up scenes for little response.

Or I may just add the odd update now and again without posting every day. Smile

Please don’t go away! You bring delight and pleasure every day. But, of course, if you have had enough for now, that is understandable! I don’t know how you do it.

Nquartz · 31/05/2020 06:35

I have been following but not replying (i did once about the BTTF figures), I often follow without commenting.

I really enjoy the posts but it must be time consuming especially when you work long hours, so if you stopped we'd understand.

It'll be interesting to see what the next big event in Playmoland will be Smile

I remember one last summer and summer isn't that long away!

ChessieFL · 31/05/2020 06:43

I have been following every day and don’t always comment, mainly because I can’t always think of something new to say that someone hasn’t already said! I would be disappointed if this ended but like a pp said this must take up a lot of your time so I can understand if you want to stop (please say you’ll be back at Christmas though)!

ChessieFL · 31/05/2020 06:44

Oh, and THANK YOU for doing this, it really does cheer me up each day!

MyEyesightIsBadLetsGoForADrive · 31/05/2020 07:27

Oh @SoMuchToBits I love these threads and appreciate all you do. I know that a lot of people are reading MN but not posting atm as it's a bit like Fight Club under the current circumstances of life even more so than usual Wink I wonder if MNHQ can see the number of views of a thread - didn't we use to get that on a roundup sometimes?

I understand the amount of work you put in though and also understand if you want to scale it back.

I actually take a screen recording of the updates and send it to DH who regularly asks what happened in Playmoland today Grin but in my defence, I am shielding and I have so many hours to fill atm. I'm sure you bring pleasure to lots of people who lurk but don't post.

FuzzyPuffling · 31/05/2020 07:27

SoMuch, I love your threads and your pictures. As a shielding household, lockdown isn't being eased for us (we can, apparently go for a walk now....no comment!) and it is lovely to escape for a little vehicle to a place where everyone is socially responsible and the dog eats all the sossiges!

I'd like to know if there's an arsonist about....

But I shall quite understand if you've had enough... you're a 🌟!

CaptainMyCaptain · 31/05/2020 08:17

I haven't commented much but I'm really enjoying your Playmo scenes. I understand if they are too time consuming for you but wouldn't want you to stop because you think nobody is watching. A 'like' button would be helpful here.

StopGo · 31/05/2020 08:23

@SoMuchToBits I've followed this thread right from the beginning (and your previous threads). I've only commented a couple of times so let me put on record my thanks. I've enjoyed this thread and your previous threads enormously.

Lockdown has been awful for me and the gentle people of Playmoland have been a great distraction.

Again thank you Thanks

SoMuchToBits · 31/05/2020 08:36

Ah, thank you all! I'll see what else I can rustle up, but I may run out of ideas after a while unless I buy more Playmo .

But here's today's offering.

Jack Jellyhead, Colin Custardhead, Freddie Foolhead and Frankie Flanhead are playing with machetes in the park.

Jack Jellyhead is injured and in hospital. Nurses Leanne and Rachel are looking after him. He will need an operation to repair his damaged arm.

Shock i hope the police are on their way to sort out the troublemakers Grin

SoMuchToBits · 31/05/2020 08:40

Humphrey the surgeon comes to see Jack after the op. "You will need to stay in overnight for intravenous antibiotics." he says. Jack isn't happy. "I want to go home now!" he shouts.

Leanne tries to explain that Jack would be better off staying in hospital overnight, but he still isn't happy, and decides to discharge himself against medical advice.

Leanne and Rachel are shocked, but not too sorry to see the back of him.

‘Playing with machetes in the park’, brilliant. Not much makes me literally laugh out loud but that did!!

CatkinToadflax · 31/05/2020 09:04

Those Puddingheads really are a group of buffoons aren’t they! 🙄 I’d say that Playmoland would be better without them, but then the police would have less to do....

Have a lovely day sailing SoMuch.
