Whats the most shocking thing an ex did that prompted you to end things

Reading another thread has reminded me of an ex who I ended things with when I caught him in the kitchen, naked having sex with a melon and to make it worse he asked me to take a photo to send to a girl in his office, as he said she would find it funny!

Just wondering, outside of cheating what other strange behaviour prompted you to end things.

Locked me and our children inside the house and attacked me infront of them.

It wasnt the first time he had attacked me, it wasnt even the 100th time. But it was the first time my DD was old enough to realise what was going on and I will never forget my 2.6 year old trying to pick me up off the floor crying saying sorry. My other baby was 8 months old.

I still feel awful now that she saw that. She thought it was her fault. I promised her she would never see that ever again, I reported it to the police, went into a hostel and moved far far away. It went to court and there's been a court order in place ever since stating he cannot contact me or the children,

Cheated on me as my mum was dying and handed the notice in on our rented house without telling me, so my mum died, then I had to arrange the funeral, plus find somewhere else to live. I honestly hate him, even 10 years on.

Underage girls.

Got hold of me, shook me and threw me to the floor. Then claimed in subsequent 1 years worth of gruelling children’s act proceedings that I fell because I was drunk because I’m an alcoholic (CPS decided to convict him) and then later claimed them same shit to the SS and they believed him. I now have the proof that he lied through his teeth - but he has destroyed my life.

I sometimes wish I’d never called the police that night he threw me to the floor.

Everytime I went out with friends and didn't answer straight away he used pretend he was going to kill himself and then message me pretending to be one of his family/friends saying he's in hospital etc. He did sooo much stuff, I'm so glad I'm rid of him🤮

Laughed when my friend was killed in a car crash. He was a psychopath. Funny how long it takes before the penny drops.

He did lots of every day things or so I thought at the time. Used to call me ugly fat cu*t and scream at me. Pin me up against the wall. Used to throw me around smashing me into things. Fractured my skull by pushing me into a bed frame. The reason I ended it? Because he was online dating. I mean wtf was wrong with me

Broke bathroom tiled floor with my head. Strangled me in front of our child, didn't let go, I managed to get him of by myself, in process of getting him of me I bit him so he told police I attacked him.

Pulled me down the stairs by my hair, punched me in the face and literally kicked me out of the house in the middle of the night.

We were living together, I was 20, he was eight years older, he didn't like me going out or wearing makeup. One Saturday night he went out with the lads and I thought 'fuck it', I'm going it too. I actually bumped into him with my friends in the only club in town and I got home first. When he got home, that's when the violence began, he'd never actually hit me before but I knew enough to know that it wouldn't stop once it started, took my chances and left.

My dad and brothers visited him the next day to get my belongings from the flat we rented and that was that.

I mean wtf was wrong with me
