We watched Jurassic Park the other night and DH and I were loving it. One by one the dc slipped away and commented that it was "a very old film". We were like, no it isn't, don't be silly, it's from the 90s, it's not an old film at all and then realised it is coming up TWENTY SEVEN YEARS old and got very low and grumpy about how old we are getting.

I have to say I was always disappointed with the DC’ s reactions to my favourite films from my past though.

Tbh if they haven't already seen Labyrinth then quite frankly you've already failed as a parent!

And how could I have forgotten The Bodyguard?! Or Titanic. Again, more likely to appeal to girls.
