Clue
Such great fun to watch, my dc are adults now but still refer back to it (flames, flames when something annoys them)

HRH2020 · 27/04/2020 08:55

Teen wolf

Iamagree · 27/04/2020 08:56

Gremlins
Twelve Angry Men

ludicrouslemons · 27/04/2020 08:56

Go proper old skool with Charlie Chaplin or Marx brothers. They're hilarious, and your kids might get a bit more interested in history.

Howmanysleepsnow · 27/04/2020 08:57

Top gun

bellinisurge · 27/04/2020 09:00

High Society.
And it's non- musical equivalent The Philadelphia Story.

Hagisonthehill · 27/04/2020 09:01

Laurel and hardy.

we did Adventures in Babysitting and Mighty Ducks over the weekend (both on Disney). kids are 19 and 13 and liked both although preferred Adventures in Babysitting. we also did The Proposal the weekend before and that got a lot of laughs too!

Hagisonthehill · 27/04/2020 09:07

Stardust,Pirates of the Caribbean and The lone ranger.
We are currently working our way through the Star Trek Films.
Not a film but we also rewatched all the Dr Who's from Eccleston on, they're on iPlayer.

Buster Keaton’s The General went down surprisingly well with my DC at a cinema showing. And everyone should watch The Music Box (Laurel and Hardy attempt to move a piano).

Zhuleva · 27/04/2020 09:14

Ruthless People
Outrageous Fortune
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
13 Going On 30
All of Me
The Man With Two Brains
Big Business

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 27/04/2020 09:17

I was going to say High Society but was beaten to it!

Mean Girls
Mighty Ducks
Escape to Victory
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
High School Musical
Notting Hill

theconstantinoplegardener · 27/04/2020 09:44

Stand by me
Napoleon dynamite
Big
Home Alone

Stand by me is rated 15

megletthesecond · 27/04/2020 10:02

I'm finding it tricky to decided what 15 certs will be ok for my 13yr old. He would like Terminator 2 but IIRC the first Terminator has worse violence, despite also being a 15.

Beverley Hills Cop is a hard call too. Proper funny and the language isn't a problem (he's seen This Country) but there's more violence than I remembered.

TheSmelliestHouse · 27/04/2020 10:10

Goonies!!

Lordfrontpaw · 27/04/2020 10:12

What about some old black and white ones - or old Hollywood (like Gilda). OK you have to give the usual ‘this is of its time’ disclaimer! Double Indemnity, Arsenic and Old Lace, the old Ealing comedies... even Casablanca!

Iwalkinmyclothing · 27/04/2020 10:17

Jurassic Park
Jumanji (the proper one, not the remake)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Solarbabies
Bill & Ted
Hook
The Mighty Ducks
Independence Day
Look Who's Talking
Three Men and a Baby
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Big
Back to the Future
Flash Gordon (surely worth it for Brian Blessed alone, although more problematic than I remembered when I re watched it recently)

woodencoffeetable · 27/04/2020 10:19

wow!
what a blast from my past Grin

thanks all!
