Is there anyone else on here that likes to smoke weed?

On all the threads I've seen that have mention cannabis it usually made out like the worse thing ever.

I'm a bit of a stoner tbh and just wondered if there is any others out there? I always see threads with people sharing what they drinking so thought I'd give it a go!

@Mysterion yes lockdown has me living a bit of a stoner life! Free from all social responsibility soo why not 😂

@waterjungle yea I find it super male dominated. A lot of women will smoke it but I've never had a female dealer.

Even where its legal ftom what I've seen the growers ect are male. We should definetly claim more space in it. I always try to normalise it with people and try not to hide it (to an extent, would never openly tell a workplace ect) because like said its no different how a lot of women have a glass of wine on an evening

But yes happy 4/20 guys! We went for a lovely walk onto the moors and going to cook some edibles! We have no snacks though. I'm due to go shopping tomorrow and haven't been for a while so 😭

I'm so pleased I've found this thread! Thanks @lemonhoney for starting it! I'm still managing to get some thanks to my brother but I am worried if there's a stricter lockdown it'll be hard to get.

@thequeenbeyondthewall you get vapes which you just put in the bud not a cartridge of liquid. They are a good way of doing it.

They range from about £65 to £250. Mine was £110 and is decent and lasted years. I use vapefiend.com. Someone up thread mentioned about one from amazon for £25 though.

I haven't had edibles in a while and last time I did I got blown away a bit lol. I think smaller quantities this time.

Yea I'm not sure that the lockdown will get stricter.. They just don't have the ability to proper enforce it.. But that's a whole other thread!!

I'm assuming most dealers are just going about as usual.. I wasnt keen on ours coming in the house last time though! Especially as they must meet a lot of people!

I was looking for a e cig that you could use that had the oil in. With the thc.

I've only ever seen it without the thc from just normal vape stores. You must be able to get them I just have no idea how much I should be paying? Anyone know?

How much do people put in when eating it? I tried the firecracker thing, 1st time slept for about 16hrs, second time a bit meh.

Id be careful with nost edibles tbh. Its really hard to guage how much to habe or whether its working and then bam, you can end up having a bad time. Not everyone just falls asleep.

This^ I remember my first time eating some, I ate too much as I thought it wasn't working. The effect was the worst whitey I've ever experienced, the walls were moving and I felt so, so ill for hours.

The thing with edibles is there are so many variables with the preparation it's difficult to tell how strong it'll be without trying it. Personally I grow my own so use the leaves, not buds, or decarbed herb from the vape so it gives a calmer and longer high instead of couch lock zonk.

Morning stoners

Another amusing anecdote, about edibles this time. I met a friend one night light in a pub just before closing time. He owed me a smoke or two as we’d had a session the weeks before, so offered me a few j’s. Being very late in the evening I thought there’s no time to smoke it so I’ll just munch it instead, it’ll help me go to sleep.

Woke up next morning feeling fine, went to work (factory job, I was 17) and just as I arrived BAM I started peaking very strongly. Spent the whole morning off my tits, my manager was probably wondering what the big grin on my face was. Managed to surf it out until I felt better mid afternoon. Moral of the story- edibles can take a while to kick in

There is a small amount of THC in them -not enough to justify smoking. You can extract it with butter or a hydrocarbon solvent - alcohol or butane. If you use butter, you then use the butter in cooking.

Edible cannabis has a different makeup of the THC deltas than smoked or vaped cannabis.

Can you just use the stuff from the kief chamber for edibles?

You an put the leaves and stalks in vodka and leave it a couple of months to infuse. Makes an extra zingy drink.

Or use gin to make a MN version

Or tequila to make a me version 😮

People usually use the stalks and leaves to make oil

I was put off edibles for a long time after experiencing the worst white out of my life.
When all this craziness is over dd will be staying at DMs for a weekend and I will be texting the weederoo guy and buying a box of betty Crocker.

@Lemonnhoney yeah I think you're right about that, people are already doing what they want! Think it's business as usual with my dealer too.

I've never really ventured into edibles. I've had space cake before and loved it but always worried it uses too much weed.

I'd love to try growing my own but I live in a rented house.

Just bought the Sapphire vaporizer because I'm sick of tobacco, fingers crossed I like it!
