NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 10/04/2020 09:28

He never saw a doctor in person until he was admitted to hospital so how did he get hold of one?

Because he is the prime minister?

Kitchendoctor · 10/04/2020 09:29

It was on Chris Witty’s advice that he was tested when he started showing symptoms.

Random18 · 10/04/2020 09:30

Because he's PM. And kind of critical to our country?

I think OP is how he got one, not why.

Perhaps it was posted to him after a phone consultation?

Redwinestillfine · 10/04/2020 09:33

I'm pretty sure the PM counts as a key worker .....

sonjadog · 10/04/2020 09:34

He will have been in regular contact with doctors from the moment he got sick. They probably sent one over for him to take.

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 10/04/2020 09:36

So GPs are sending out testing kits to people who think they have the virus, is that it?

OP posts:
newmummy8789 · 10/04/2020 09:36

At least he had symptoms, I read the other day about a footballer who tested positive, he had no symptoms but thought he'd test anyway 🙄

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 10/04/2020 09:36

And yes, i'm asking how he got one, not why. I know why.

How do you know he didint see a doctor? Why do you think this question has any importance? Bit of the green eye them and us old stuff? Perhaps his job is just a little important and he fulfilled the criteria for a test, this question has been done to death. Did it damage you in some way?

SuckingDieselFella · 10/04/2020 09:37

Yes OP, how dare he be tested. It's not as if he's in charge of the country or anything. Confused

PianoTuner567 · 10/04/2020 09:37

I imagine he has a personal doctor or two and they got him one? I don’t understand the question?

Apolloanddaphne · 10/04/2020 09:38

I don't think doctors go in to do testing. I think it is other HCP's who do this.

SoupDragon · 10/04/2020 09:38

Surely it isn't hard to work it out.

Kez200 · 10/04/2020 09:39

I dont think questioning how a PM got a test is the right target. His role, like the Queen, and to some extent Charles, is one where it would be expected.

What is wrong is that some celebrities and sports people are saying they have, when our frontline staff havent. Thats the right target.

LurksAscending · 10/04/2020 09:39

He was tested in downing Street by staff from the NHS. Whilst I can see the irony and as much as I detest the sitting Government, he is the PM. He needed to be tested.

sonjadog · 10/04/2020 09:40

Are you trying to make some point about it being unfair that he gets special treatment? He will get special treatment because he is the PM and has an important role in running the country. That will be why they sent him a test by courier, asked a doctor to come and test him, or whatever.

Redcrayons · 10/04/2020 09:41

He’s the prime minister. He got special treatment.

Kitchendoctor · 10/04/2020 09:42

How? I don’t see why that matters.

jomaIone · 10/04/2020 09:43

I doubt BJ phoned up his GP at 8am that morning with a bit of cough and fever and his GP popped round with the test...

He will have personal doctors on hand all the time, never mind during a pandemic!

Tonyaster · 10/04/2020 09:43

Hopefully he got special treatment because he is the Prime Minister.

Samcro · 10/04/2020 09:43

because at the moment he is very important for the countries moral.

Tonyaster · 10/04/2020 09:43

He will have personal doctors on hand all the time

He doesn't. He's not Prince Charles.

megletthesecond · 10/04/2020 09:44

He's the PM.

As much as I disagree with his politics and his general attitude, I don't have a problem with him being tested pronto. Glad he's on the mend.

Tonyaster · 10/04/2020 09:45

Kitchendoctor

You don't see why being PM matters when it comes to cv testing? 🤪🤪
