Boris is the leader of the country, I'm sure it's quite important he is tested.

They would have needed to tested I'm as he was in contact with so many people and making important decisions ,one of them was asked the other day ( can't remember which one ) on the daily televised question and answer thing they have why he was tested ,and he said it was in the guidelines that those in g charge of the Government and making essential decisiois be tested ,obviously it's a disgrace that front line staff are not having enough tests however

NHS staff are also being tested if they show symptoms as they are essential to the country. As is the prime minister.

There's a limited number of tests and they have to be prioritised, I'd say the prime minister definitely fits into that category.

I'm sure they sent some kind of HCP round to do the test other than a doctor. It's not hard to imagine that the machinery of government could rustle up a nurse or two to go to No. 10.

He was tested because he's the PM, had symptoms and because Chris Whitty said he should. What more do you need?

I wasn't being serious with my answer by the way. But of course there's lots of potential ways the PM would be able to access a test that most of us who don't run the country can't.

He is running the country at a time of crisis, he should have been tested therefore was given a test, I assume by doctors who visiting him.

Save your ire for those 'celebs' who weren't displaying symptoms but still managed to get a test. Or those displaying mild symptoms who then went on to get testing.

Once Boris had evaded the scanty social distancing press, he quietly slipped into a darkened alley near the tube station. A shady looking Dr, in full PPE opened his white coat to reveal a plethora of Covid-19 tests. "You looking to buy, mate?" Boris rubs his hands together in glee, makes his purchase and legs it back to Downing Street, cackling maniacally about the stupidity of the proles...
