Watching Robocop with DS.

And look who popped up.

Dr Romano. He also has a horrible death in this one - almost up to the helicopter crashing on him standard!

Anyone else remember early appearances of actors in films or TV

Paris from Gilmore Girls - it was her husband in ER who stabbed Lucy and Carter!

Sticking with ER, Dr Greene died from a brain tumour. But he had a far more spectacular death in Top Gun.....

I wonder what George Clooney's first roles were

Jim from Neighbours in 24. I was amazed!

George Clooney was Booker in Roseanne. He was all denim and terrible mullet.

Jim from Neighbours in 24. I was amazed!

Wasn't he also in The OC or Ugly Betty? Or maybe both??

Kevin Spacey foretold the sleazy end of his career by having one scene as a sleaze with Melanie Griffith in Working Girl

MyFartWillGoOn · 09/04/2020 14:18

Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel have some great earlier actor cameos.

Amy Adams, Wentworth Miller, Jeremy Renner, Pedro Pascal

Anthony Head from Buffy was Tony in those long running Gold Blend coffee ads.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 09/04/2020 15:06

Jim Carrey, Jeff Goldblum and Keanu Reeves in Earth Girls Are Easy.

MyFartWillGoOn · 09/04/2020 16:58

Robert Shannon as one half of a. young couple in love in Groundhog Day

And of course Billy Zane as part of Biff's gang in Back to the Future

OhioOhioOhio Jim Robinson (Alan Dale) in neighbours was in both ugly Betty and the O.C. - he's in loads of stuff always playing a similar character and he always die of heart attacks too

I saw Inside Llewelyn Davis, a Coen Brothers film about the New York folk scene, a few days after watching The Force Awakens, and was delighted to see Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren singing a song with Justin Timberlake about how they don’t want to go to outer space.

Watch the clip. It’s completely brilliant.

Let’s not forget Matt Dillon in The Pogues, Fairy Tale of New York video

OhhhPeee · 09/04/2020 17:27

Dr Romano was also a particularly gruesome “monster of the week” in the X Files. He was a paramedic who couldn’t die.

The very elegant, proper lawyer in Blue Bloods was one of the Coyotes dancing on the bar in Coyote Ugly.

It always makes me laugh. Frank would have been so disapproving!

Jocasta2018 · 09/04/2020 18:37

Alan Dale aka Jim from Neighbours was also in NCIS. He sure gets around!

HPLikecraft · 09/04/2020 18:42

Jim from Neighbours was also in Lost!

APurpleSquirrel · 09/04/2020 18:54

Watched Adventures in Babysitting (1987) with DD today - as well as a very young Bradley Whitford (West Wing) there was Vincent D'Onofrio as Thor/Garage owner 😂

Robin Tunney from the Mentalist was in the pilot episode of House as the patient (and yes, also in The Craft).

Bryan Cranston, Giovanni Ribisi and Jack Black are some of the actors who appeared in XFiles many many years ago.

I love spotting actors who were in older stuff. Vic Macky from the Shield was in Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the revolutionaries.

elQuintoConyo · 09/04/2020 19:10

APurpleSquirrel that's a hilarious find!

DorisKarloff · 09/04/2020 19:14

I remember in the late 70s/early 80s a dreadful American sitcom about 2 students who dressed up as women to attend college. It was called Bosom Buddies with Tom Hanks

bruffin · 09/04/2020 19:16

Monica from friends was in a Bruce Springsteen Video Dancing in the Dark

The twelfth doctor was crushed over by the Vicar of Dibley

The tenth doctor worked in a bar to pay for a sex change
