I’ve never read an Agatha Christie book - which one shall I start with?

Considering I have time to kill now that I’ve lost all my clients... tell me which one I should download first! Smile

I don't think anyone has mentioned Peril at End House - that's one of my favourites.

I did, Pelleas!

I haven't read any of the thread yet - a treat for me in a minute - but I adore 'The Mysterious Mr Quinn' stories, no Poirot or Marple but brilliant short stories.

I also really like 'Parker Pyne' but I don't think those stories are as popular.

I have just seen somebody post 'Peril At End House' and yes, brilliant story.

Off to the read the thread now. :)

After the Funeral is also one of my favourite books.

Oh, sorry Perdita! Glad to have found another fan.

I'd forgotten the Mr Quin stories, but I agree with LyingWitch - they are brilliant.

Oh yes, I like those too! Also very fond of After the Funeral.

And then there were none
4:50 from Paddington
ABC Murders
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd

WildImaginings · 01/04/2020 17:25

And Then There Were None.

While they don't match Agatha Christie's novels, I found the Sophie Hannah Poirot novels a decent read too (for those who have exhausted the originals!).
