Which subscription boxes have you signed up to?

My boyfriend gets a craft box for his daughter, and she always looks forward to it. It's made me think that I'd like to get a new monthly box, but I can't decide which one?

Any recommendations?

Just about to order a toucan box, does anyone have a referral code?

EskiSummerleaze · 28/03/2020 13:28

Got one thanks Grin

Duckchick · 28/03/2020 13:36

We've had Mud and Bloom for outdoor activities with younger kids (seeds plus 2 activities), Toucan boxes for crafts and Curiosity boxes for STEM (they do a Curiositots box for younger kids as well as the ones for older kids).

I stopped all of them when DS started school as we weren't finding time to do them and they were starting to accumulate. I'm very glad I've got them now, if we run out before schools go back they all worked well so I'd get more in

doofusmoof · 28/03/2020 17:37

i like the look of mud& bloom

Hobbes8 we regularly get a musclefood order and the quality is great. The chicken breasts are HUGE, one easily does two meals

Just bumping this to ask about the arts box for adults?

I'm getting Gousto and Lush kitchen next month as a treat

I see someone above has already mentioned Field and Flower for meat, cheese etc - be warned that once you’ve had one of their chickens or any of their meat you won’t want to buy from the supermarket ever again. They are undoubtedly more expensive but you can choose the frequency of the delivery and what you want to include. I started using them without a subscription but now get a regular fortnightly delivery. Their fish is good too but since last autumn I’ve been using Fishbox for a monthly fish delivery ( which like Field and Flower is flexible). If you like fish and are happy to leave them to choose what comes in your box (you provide them with a list of likes and dislikes) then it’s fantastic value for the freshest of fish. I have a large box which costs £45 and I’d defy anyone to find fish of this quality anywhere for the price.
Like Field and Flower everything is suitable for freezing and they use DPD with a one hour time slot for delivery.
If you sign up to F & F you can get £10 off your first order ( doesn’t have to be a subscription) but if anyone is thinking of taking out a subscription I can provide a code for 25% off the first two of your subscription orders ( minimum spend for each £39.50) which expires at the end of the month This is nothing to do with the refer a friend scheme they operate so there is nothing in it for me

GlobeUs · 11/01/2021 10:27

@ScorpionQueen this isn't a subscription but the meat from Sillfield Farm Foods is absolutely excellent, varied and awesome quality.

Orangeblossom77777 · 11/01/2021 10:32

I recommend the Blurt foundation who do self care boxes, for depression but also would be nice in general during this time for anyone stressed out.

GlobeUs · 11/01/2021 10:36

@Orangeblossom77777 I have been thinking about getting one of these for a while - please may I ask what kind of things you get in them?

Does anyone have an arts and crafts for adults recommendation, or a photography box recommendation, or something with stationary that I can post to others, or science please, or nature/environment?

Last one I had had jasmine oil, nice dark chocolate, a sewing kit and some kind of herbal tea I think.

I don't have any but just got my sister a flower subscription from Appleyard. The bouquet was beautiful and she has two more to come. Would love one for myself, at least while lockdown is on and the outside world is cold and dull. Her subscription runs until March when hopefully things will be brighter.
