My boyfriend gets a craft box for his daughter, and she always looks forward to it. It's made me think that I'd like to get a new monthly box, but I can't decide which one?

Any recommendations?

I've just signed up to an art supply box.

KipperTheFrog · 26/03/2020 19:32

Thanks @Soubriquet just ordered a box!

reefedsail · 26/03/2020 19:39

Blink cat food and contact lenses! V dull (although the cat food is amazing).

For a while we got the MEL Science boxes. We never had time to do them so a few issues built up unused and I cancelled. It turns out they are now bloody perfect for homeschool science. I am really glad we have them. I'll resubscribe if we run out before the schools go back.

I'm also considering The Week junior and Phoenix for DS while he's home.

Awebox looks great! Does anyone have a referral?

For those who get the gin one, which day of the month does it usually arrive? I can't wait for mine! Smile

doofusmoof · 27/03/2020 12:22

what's the arts & craft one?

I've done fruit/veg, meat. Anyone sweet ones? brownies? or baking ones?

ScorpionQueen · 27/03/2020 14:47

Usually just after the first of the month.
I would tick the bimonthly box to give you chance to get a referral of your own before being charged full price for the second box, although at £40 it's still good value.
Your joining email will warn you what date your next payment comes out to so you can stop it if you need to.
Just in case anyone wants a £20 gin box, this is my code.

ohwerehalfwaythere · 27/03/2020 16:16

@BallacheForLife so you have an Awebox code please? Just looked and I'm going to give it a go!

TBHno · 27/03/2020 17:06

I also want to try Awebox if anyone has a referral code Smile

BallacheForLife · 27/03/2020 18:03

Sorry I don't have a code but there might be an Awebox code online somewhere if you search.
I love my Awebox deliveries especially now. Mine cane day before yesterday and it really brightened my week.

elizabethdraper · 27/03/2020 18:07

We get coffee and socks

scissy · 27/03/2020 18:24

I use field and flower for meat - been a customer since the beginning. Always had decent meat from them, and they do fish and cheese too.

LucyRipley · 27/03/2020 19:59

Splosh looks great - does anyone have a referral code?

Wait4nothing · 27/03/2020 20:06

We get simply cook (spices/stocks/marinates for meals with recipes) which is lovely - the curries are beautiful but we never have a bad meal
We get dog food from tails.com
I get a bimonthly craft kit

Devlesko · 27/03/2020 20:08

We don't have any, no monthly subscriptions to anything.
Are we on our own?

fiddlethefiddles · 27/03/2020 20:56

Splosh referral code O80N65B1YU

sockittome123 · 27/03/2020 21:25

doofusmoof sugarpoke.com isn't technically a subscription box but it delivers brownies to your door!

Hobbes8 · 27/03/2020 21:32

ScorpionQueen I signed up to musclefoods.com in an attempt to get my parents some food delivered. It seemed to have lots of good quality meat available, but they haven’t received their first order yet so can’t comment on the service.

LucyRipley · 27/03/2020 23:10

Thanks fiddlethefiddles - first order done :-)

RainbowMum11 · 27/03/2020 23:18

Gin?

HunterHearstHelmsley · 27/03/2020 23:20

I love my fabfitfun box! Its quarterly. Mixed reviews online but I like it.

PutColinInTheCorner · 28/03/2020 09:14

If anyone would like my Splosh referral code, it's 463436 for 15% off. For transparency, that also gives me a £3 credit, up to a total of £12 max at any time, so I won't be opening my own Splosh shop yet Grin They are starting to run low on some items btw.

TinyTimsCrutch · 28/03/2020 10:17

@fiddlethefiddles I’ve just used your Splosh code, thank you x

TwoZeroTwoZero · 28/03/2020 10:28

Ds gets one for razor blades but I don't remember the name.

We used to get the graze boxes but they were expensive and not worth the money for just 4 boxes or however many you get.

We get tea pigs teabags every month from Amazon.

Ds gets a science/art magazine through the post most months. I think it's called Aquila.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 28/03/2020 10:29

Oh and dh also gets ground coffee once a month.
