Can I just come here to tell you I'm getting a puppy in 6 weeks? I'm so excited about him that I want to do a little dance but we all have to be quite sensible now so I'm having to keep it bottled up! I have planned him for months and months, tracking the antics of a gorgeous stud dog and where his ahem girlfriends were and finally - a litter with boy pups has arrived. I'm so excited!! I'm choosing his name at the moment. My DH really wants to tell me we shouldn't do it but he knows how much this means to me, so he is holding back. Once pup is here he will adore it, I know that.

I've tried Sarah Raven for bulbs, Bunny, and they are really good. Their catalogue is lovely, I agree!

Sarah Raven aren't taking orders for veg seeds or growing lot at the moment.

Plants, bulbs yes but with longer lead times.

I find them excellent.

Schadenfreudepersonified - I'm prepared, don't worry! My last dog had to be put to sleep last summer so this is a big step to do it all over again. It is planning to have another member of the family, basically. Not something I would do lightly. Dh said he couldn't go through it again, but I can't live that way!

A competition? The fish may be in a league (and indeed a tank) of their own but surely it's got to be the sausage dog and I'm totally not cheating here

I am 50 today. I should have been eating dinner on a beach a long way a way.

Instead I am watching celebrity bake off and drinking bailey's.

The worst thing is not being able to see my family.
