Has anyone got Disney Plus?

If so can I ask how do you access it?

For £50 it seems a good deal however, my living room is half plastered at the moment and likely not to be finished due to the virus for a while. The main TV is therefore disconnected.

I just wondered if it’s similar to Netflix where it’s an app and can be accessed from different tvs?

Do sky q customers have to pay for it?

What's on there that a 9 and yo would like?

Lippy1234 · 24/03/2020 19:37

Yes Sky Q people have to pay. You sign up for it and then use the log in details on Sky Q. It’s worth doing the 7 day free trial to see what you think.

Mrsjayy · 24/03/2020 19:38

It's got so much stuff on it. Very impressed

WTFdidwedo · 24/03/2020 19:51

@Bluewavescrashing it's got pretty much every Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars film and show. It also has National Geographic and Disney Nature stuff if you want to keep it educational. I've just started watching the High School Musical series Grin also highly recommend Fairy Tale Weddings!

Oaksquarebox · 24/03/2020 20:05

Bugger. I’m paid for it on Disney not by Sky.

UserDeleted · 24/03/2020 20:11

I have the free trial and will definitely get it for the month after as there's lots I want to watch!

If you have a PS4 you can download the app on that and watch it on your tv that way.

chickedeee · 24/03/2020 20:13

Watching through xbox one after paying subscription and also downloaded to ipad via disney + website.

Excellent value Wink

RandomWok · 24/03/2020 20:14

@RufustheLanglovingreindeer that's what I'm hoping. I'm really trying not to buy it on prime. But I really want to watch it too. We're down my wages at the moment though.

Adulting sucks! 😂

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 20:19

Adulting does suck...😩

I don’t think we more sensitive types should be forced to do it

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 20:20

Now do i mean sensitive or do i mean childish

One of them

shopaholic85 · 24/03/2020 20:29

I have it - my brother kindly paid for it for my DD. The selection looks good. My Panasonic Smart TV doesn't have an app for it though, which is disappointing.

SimplySteveRedux · 24/03/2020 20:29

We watched the Mandolaurin

I'm bingeing Star Wars, I'm on Ep IV so far! Can't wait to see baby Yoda. Yoda is special. Grin

DisneyPlus · 24/03/2020 20:42

Got it? I am it. Grin
It’s annoying I can’t watch on Virgin Media. :(

Clymene · 24/03/2020 20:44

Baby yoda is worth £50 a year alone. Plus I'm going to make my kids watch really old Disney films

Monstermissy36 · 24/03/2020 20:47

Adventures in babysitting my fave film as a kid! Worth it just for that

IamMoana · 24/03/2020 21:02

We got it, access it through the sky box. Was surprised to find every episode of the Simpsons on it! We watched Lady & The Tramp and Avengers Endgame. Have chucked loads in the watch list.

Frozen 2 is available to purchase on SkyStore if anyone's after it.

Molly333 · 24/03/2020 21:28

Hi folks we have amazon prime and sky but cant find it . Where should we look ?

OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 24/03/2020 21:50

Switch your Sky Q box off at the wall for a few minutes. Switch it back on and it’ll be in the Apps section.

Aragog · 25/03/2020 08:56

Dd has been watching on her iPad. She's not tried in the study or bedroom tv. She stayed up til it came love and has watched it pretty Much since!

I have discovered we can't get it on a Panasonic Tv though. There's no app. So have ordered a FireStick to access it easier that was. We do have Apple TV we could use but that's normally attached to DD's tv and it's be faff changing it over every time.

Oaksquarebox · 25/03/2020 09:22

Thanks Onlyjudy. That worked!

Kez0777 · 25/03/2020 13:08

I'm going to do the free 7 day trial to see what I think and get us through the next 7 days at least!
Is it easy to cancel does anyone know?
Thanks

LER83 · 25/03/2020 13:23

We've got it on our samsung smart tv, and then as an app on iphone which we cast to kids tv with a chrome cast. Dd is disappointed no Frozen 2, Zombies 2 or Descendants 3. Loads for me to watch though! Shame dh is using our bedroom as his office so can't sneak of to bed and watch Lady and the Tramp!
