Has anyone got Disney Plus?

If so can I ask how do you access it?

For £50 it seems a good deal however, my living room is half plastered at the moment and likely not to be finished due to the virus for a while. The main TV is therefore disconnected.

I just wondered if it’s similar to Netflix where it’s an app and can be accessed from different tvs?

I have it, we downloaded it this morning through our sky tv box

Oaksquarebox · 24/03/2020 14:24

I think it needs to appear on my sky q apps. So far not there.

I can't find it all on my telly to download it, mind you I'm not very good at that stuff anyway.

princesspeppax is that only with sky Q

We’ve done it through the internet on the tv

But i think we are going to try and download the app later

Lippy1234 · 24/03/2020 14:42

I’ve got it, it’s good.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 14:44

We are watching Camp Rock

Im in hell

Whitelisbon · 24/03/2020 14:49

We're watching Peter pan, ds1 is watching something marvel, and dd1 is watching the hannah Montana movie.
Getting our moneys worth already!
Weve had Disney life for a couple of years now, theres a lot more available on Disney +, just a shame we cant get the disney channels through it.

RandomWok · 24/03/2020 14:50

My eldest was a bit disappointed there was no Frozen 2, as I promised her she could watch it today. 🤷‍♀️ She has seen it advertised on prime and I wouldn't buy it as I thought it was included. Silly mummy!

UserDeleted · 24/03/2020 14:51

Missed the offer but I see there’s a free 7 day trial so will try that.

I'm not sure how much use we'd get to make paying for the whole year worth it? I don’t have small children and my teens don’t watch tv ever (cuts in to gaming time!) so really its for me and DH. I think maybe just the occasional month here and there might work out better value for us.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 14:52

I think its out in april random (said july but its rumoured to be brought forward)

Dh is disappointed as well...

caringcarer · 24/03/2020 14:54

It is an app you can download to Apple and Android tablets and phones, or through Sky but not as yet through Virgin media. Some smart TV such a Samsung have ability buy most tvs do not as yet. We got it, dh and ds have it on tablets and phones.

sugarbum · 24/03/2020 14:57

You can't download on all smart tv's unfortunately, as I discovered this morning. Ours is smart but not Android enabled. We have to wait until sony add it , if they add it. We do have Chromecast though on the hudl2 so ds2 is watching on the tv and ds1 on his pc. I also downloaded on the fire hd10.

adarkwhisperinthewoodwasheard · 24/03/2020 17:50

Anyone else having problems with speeds? We've been watching on our LG smart TV and the buffering is really frustrating.

Mrsjayy · 24/03/2020 17:53

My dds bought it one DD doesn't live here so it is on her tv dd2s. Phone and the t v it is great and easy to use.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 17:58

We have a samsung smart tv and no buffering

We will have to do the stupid tv in the other room on a hudl...we havent tried it yet

youngestisapsycho · 24/03/2020 17:59

We got the app on our LG tv. DD has watched 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies today! Pic fine, no buffering but I did notice the sound was slightly out with the pic....

youngestisapsycho · 24/03/2020 18:00

I think it’s only available on Smart TVs less than 4years old?

Fedupandpoor · 24/03/2020 18:03

Do you know if you can watch on more than one device at the same time?

Aragog · 24/03/2020 18:09

Teenage dd has spent almost all day watching it. She's watched on her iPad.

We have just ordered a Fire stick for our living room TV as it seems Panasonic don't have a Disney+ app. The Apple TV tends to live in DD's bedroom for her TV up there.

BuffaloCauliflower · 24/03/2020 18:15

The SkyQ app was just there today, I didn’t have to do anything. Wish there were more of the recent Disney/Pixar films, hope they add more

TinnedPearsForPudding · 24/03/2020 18:22

My brother in law has paid for it for my son whilst the schools are closed. He's watching it now. Very kind of him

WTFdidwedo · 24/03/2020 18:43

@Fedupandpoor yes it's something like 10 devices, 7 profiles and 4 simultaneous streams I think?

Livpool · 24/03/2020 18:44

Disney + has saved our sanity today!

Mrsjayy · 24/03/2020 18:57

*We are watching Camp Rock

Im in hell*

Oh im so very sorry Grin

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 24/03/2020 19:30

mrsjay

And now i think im about to get kicked out of the living room as we can’t get it on the stupid tv in the other room
