Sorry for posting such trivia during a time of such worry and hardship which I too share with you and please don't spray me down the road with the mumsnet equivalent of a water canon but..............

Has anyone had any bad experiences with Bloom and Wild letterbox flowers and if so do you mind telling me about them? It's for my mum who isn't on the internet.

I'd be really grateful.

I've used them a few times and always been great.

I got a bunch from my husband two weeks ago and they have only just gone over. Packaging is fab and great instructions, I couldn't be happier with them.

Always been great. As they arrive in bud the bouquets look a bit less splendiferous than the photos for a couple of days but they last for ages.

Orangecake123 · 22/03/2020 18:36

I send my mother flowers from them every month. They also regularly always email you 10% or 15% off codes.

If you use my code you get £10 off your first order and so do I.

I use them loads, never had any issues!

aibutohavethisusername · 22/03/2020 18:40

I’ve used them before and never had a problem. Has your sister tried to tweet them?

36degrees · 22/03/2020 18:43

I've used them loads, always really happy with them. Great service, really lovely flowers.

madcatladyforever · 22/03/2020 18:43

Yes tweeted and facebooked and eventually emailing the customer "delight" manager who has been obstructive all day - this has now been going on via email on and off for 8 hours. They don't want to do anything. It's awful because this is likely to be our mums last mothers day she has cancer and they just don't give a damn that her mothers day gift was awful.

What are they actually saying?

TreacherousPissFlap · 22/03/2020 19:21

We always use them as they're so convenient and we've never had an issue. They also last ages so aren't that pricey all things considered.

GreenGordon · 22/03/2020 19:22

I have had several bunches from them kindly sent to me, and they’ve always been brilliant.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 22/03/2020 19:23

I sent my mum sone a month ago and they were lovely.

ringletsandtwiglets · 22/03/2020 19:33

I gave my mum a B+W year's subscription last year. She liked the letterbox delivery and the flowers usually lasted a week or so.

This year, I chose Freddie's Flowers instead. MUCH better in terms of number and size of flowers, and they generally last around 2.5-3 weeks. Not letterbox delivery, but they do send a text with a hour timeslot the day before.

Hope the B+W team sort their customer service out for you, OP.

I think they are excellent. I've received a number of them and have never been disappointed. Good value and far better than John Lewis, next, m and s

nancyclancy123 · 22/03/2020 19:46

I’ve used them 3/4 times and been really pleased. I will definitely use them again!

viques · 22/03/2020 19:51

They are good, but your inbox will be stuffed wth their emails.....

What are they actually saying?

They said they would replace the item and put £10 into my account. I'm not happy with this because this is the 2nd box from them that's not only no good but utter crap, the first completely dead and brown and the 2nd, half a window box. I said I wanted them to send a very small token maybe a few flowers to my mum in way of an apology for 2 duff orders.

It's took me 8 hours of emailing back and forth. I don't want their £10, how is that going to make my mums mothers day any better?

Any customer service worth their salt would sort this out in a maximum of 2 emails. 8 is not acceptable and has kept me tied to the computer all day and left a bitter taste in my mouth as there won't be another Mothers day for my mum, they actually reduced me to tears.

I've contacted the managing director because no customer should have to put up with this crap.

All lovely here I'm afraid bought flowers and xmas tree x

TreacherousPissFlap · 22/03/2020 20:34

Well that sounds fair enough, they've agreed to replace the ropey ones and credited you with £10. I'm not sure what more you want? Hmm

I’ve used them twice and was very happy.

johnstonfont · 22/03/2020 21:08

I think their resolution was good.

New flowers for your Mum was £10 for you(or your sister).

Did you complain about the first bouquet?

StripeyDeckchair · 22/03/2020 21:27

I had some from them yesterday and they are lovely.

Sexnotgender · 22/03/2020 21:55

Their resolution sounds entirely reasonable. A replacement for your mum and a partial refund for you.

What exactly would you have wanted?
