So I've got to wfh as from today.
Due to my job role there's no way work will supply me with enough to fill 7.5 hours everyday.

Does anyone watch a cheeky box set or have a bath etc?

I've also started homeschooling ds (6) here while wfh the last few days. It is so stressful trying to do both. I'm like a teacher in the evenings planning out work for the next day.

I am on day five of being at home and going quietly mental. Usually do one day a week from home but the thought of weeks I this is horrible. Also from next week will have husband and child here too. ...

Errol thank you. I collected my office chair Thursday and am now much more comfortable - arrangements also being put in place for staff to do dse assessments which h&s are telephone triaging - I've fought for this as a back sufferer. Am concerned for some staff in flat shares and working from beds and others in small flats who don't have space for a kitchen table let alone a desk.

Meerkat I hope I'm not your boss Grin

Four days wfh now. Am having skype calls daily with my snr mgrs and also a brief team meeting - my staff are all on full pay, have been provided with hardware and software and I expect them to be as productive as possible. We have set up a step challenge and are sharing our pets/children on-screen. Business seems to be settling into a new normal.

I am v v busy as part of the snr mgt team responsible for keeping our operations running, as well as trying to maintain BAU. The dozen of us had a virtual wrapping up the week meeting at 6pm last night with drinks. Was quite a nice end to the formal week.

Apart from that trying to keep to as normal a routine as poss. Get up, shower, bung on dishwasher and w/mash, dress for work and doing hair and make-up. Start at 8, finish at 6.30. Saving travel time so having a break/walk/supermarket trip from 2.30 to 3.30.

This will reset the workplace forever - my team is already digitising folders in share-point and yes we are behind the curve but an old fashioned sector.
