What nice / trivial / 1st world issues are annoying you at present?

I’ll start. An owl is hooting, and keeping me awake. We just moved to the edge of town a few weeks ago - we literally look out over fields & woods - and I’ve never heard an owl at night before. It’s nice, but a bit distracting.

My smoke alarm is intermittently beeping and I don't know how to fix it, I tried to take the cover off but failed. I'm pathetic

My washing machine is on its last legs.

I have just opened a twin pack of Belgian buns and half of the icing is stuck to the film.
Am I allowed to lick it off?

Im going to eat toast shortly........big fat slices. I have Dundee marmalade, cherry conserve, chocolate spread AND peanut butter. If i disturb the dogs they'll wake DH and he might want some. Bugger.

I am all snuggled in bed apart from cold feet. I can't sleep with socks on though.

I really want crumpets for breakfast but there are 3 left and DH likes them too.

the delay in replying was caused by me tying my self in knots trying to like the crook of my elbow

DH has just poured me a much too big glass of delicious red wine. I shall have to absolutely guzzle it down, to drink it all before bed time.

Been avoiding red wine for years as I think it gives me migraines. But if I’m going to be stuck at home anyway, what the hell...

I put my wine in the freezer to chill it down nice and quick and now it’s a bit too cold...

I really do need to get off my arse and groom my Pomeranian tomorrow

DH has come home 2 weeks early... But I have a new DVD I haven't had a chance to watch.

AgentProvocateur I don't believe its even truffles in the truffle oil, I'm 99% sure its asafoetida.

@theinrbriati, I think you’re right. I like actual truffle (which I’ve only had once) but the oil just smells like a gas leak to me. 😂
