All on my own as DH is at a social meeting thing, home about 11
I've parboiled some spuds and I will be having wedges and eggs for dinner with a glass of wine of course!
As the wedges cook I'm enjoying planning two shopping lists!
Tomorrow I'll be getting ingredients for dinner as DD and her Fiancé are coming round in the evening, really looking forward to seeing them
Saturday I'll be shopping for our 4 nights away in the Dales in our campervan starting Sunday. I love cooking in the van, it's like "playing at houses"
Don't care about the weather forecasts as we have appropriate clothing
I love looking forward to things.
What are you up to or looking forward to?

Hi! Do you have a VW Camper?? I love camping and my dream is to own a campervan.

I’m happy. Man Utd won 5-0.

Redshoeblueshoe · 12/03/2020 20:13

I have just eaten a meringue, with chocolate and peanut butter sauce.
And shortly I shall be drinking 🍷
Enjoy your break it sounds great

sunshineandshowers21 · 12/03/2020 20:14

i’m 30 weeks pregnant and completely exhausted so my mum’s took my three kids for a sleepover so that i can have an early night. i’ve had a lovely hot bubble bath, scoffed a chinese, and now i’m snuggled down on the sofa with my dogs watching power. my eyes are going already so i’ll probably be fast off by 9!

ExpletiveDelighted · 12/03/2020 20:14

I'm doing some work, listening to some of my favourite songs on Spotify with a cuppa and will be catching up with Masterchef later.

Redshoeblueshoe · 12/03/2020 20:16

5-0 my DH will be delighted.

Am just back from gym, enjoying an endorphin glow

Knocksomesense · 12/03/2020 20:17

I'm currently sat on the bedroom floor waiting for my two boys to fall asleep. Perfectly happy here with my phone for company.

The oven is warming and I'm having steak, chips and a bottle of wine with dh shortly

YewandOak · 12/03/2020 20:19

I'm curled up on the settee in my pjs under my "teddy bear" blanket.
Both salt lamps on and candles lit. Watching telly and browsing on my phone.

We're enjoying our last day of holiday in Devon.

Had a lush day walking on the beach, and spent the early evening in a hot tub with a very cold wind blowing in our hair. It was all very pleasant until the bloody dog jumped in Hmm

Troels · 12/03/2020 20:20

Dd and I went to Zumba, got good and sweaty and came home to Dh cooking us sausages for tea. Yum.

MummyGoingItAlone · 12/03/2020 20:23

I’m chilling on the sofa with a takeaway. Had a promotion at work this week and I’m getting a company car which is excellent news as mine is getting on a bit.
Gonna have a long soak, read my book and be asleep by 10 😊

BidieIn · 12/03/2020 20:24

Having a Wine and listening to music with the occasional bit of a dance thrown in.

Bumbl · 12/03/2020 20:29

Enjoying reading a book at the moment and thinking of nothing else. Also treated myself and ordered lots more that will come tomorrow

Raera · 12/03/2020 20:31

@aibutohavethisusername
No it's slightly bigger than a VW DH is 6' 6" so he won't fit in one!
Lovely stories, particularly envious of Toria being in Devon, it's beautiful
I've decided on our menus for the 4 nights in the van
Smoked haddock chowder
Paprika pork with mash and green beans
Ham hocks (part cooked ones from Asda) with Lidl tinned Dauphinoise potatoes
Leek, cheese and bacon tart www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/leek-cheese-bacon-tart

I love cooking in the tiny kitchen!

Yes, because dh has gone out so no 2 hours of non-stop doom and gloom and we're all goingto die - gin and bliiiiiss

RJnomore1 · 12/03/2020 20:35

I’m watching the football after a long day of work. I’m really happy to find a fun place to chat tonight.

bloodywhitecat · 12/03/2020 20:37

I'm under my 4 month old sleeping fosterling, the baby won't sleep anywhere else at this time of night. I found out today that my other fosterling's (aged 3) adoption looks like it will happen after all, I am sad they are moving on but happy for what it means for my fosterling and the couple.

Itsnotalwaysfair · 12/03/2020 20:40

Yes! Pizza and salad for dinner with wine and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Introduced DH and DD to the delicousness of a Toasted marshmellows with the aid of a fork and candle. They were amazed. Fun chasing round the table with 5 year old DD playing with kitchen roll swords. Finished tidying kitchen and about to give my mum a ring.

RJnomore1 · 12/03/2020 20:40

@bloodywhitecat that’s an amazing thing you are doing.

Raera · 12/03/2020 20:41

@Raera I've made that tart too for a brunch - it's delicious

Spied · 12/03/2020 20:41

Looking forward to DC going up to bed at 9.
They had school friends over for tea and there's been tears, tantrums and fallings-out.
I'm looking forward to watching rubbish tv with a huge slice of chocolate cake then bed with my new book ( dp is working so bed to myself too)

MozzchopsThirty · 12/03/2020 20:43

I am looking forward to 4 child free days
Plan:
Go out with boyfriend for food & drinks
Stay in bed all day Saturday watching Netflix and eating comfort food
More drinking and Sunday lunch
Recover

SmileSmile

I literally can't wait

Raera · 12/03/2020 20:44

@Itsnotlwaysfair
Good to know as I've not made it before.
Did you precook the bacon or is it ok raw in the tart?
