Bedtime for adults in your house at the weekend

Just an honest question.
What time do you (as an adult) go to bed/sleep at the weekend?

Sick with jealousy here, my younger one with ASD rarely settles before 11, often nearer 12 and I'm permanently tired Sad it's a bad combo with my shift work

HelloDulling · 29/02/2020 06:42

Somewhere between 9 and 10.

YewandOak · 29/02/2020 06:50

When I'm tired.

Zenithbear · 29/02/2020 06:53

We are in our early 50's with grown up dc who have all left home. We have a very active social life and at weekends there is always something going on. Last night was a party so we went to bed about 1am. Tonight we're off to a wedding reception an hour away won't be in bed until after 2am. That's pretty typical for us. Never ever before midnight even on the extremely rare occasion when we stay in.

IceColdCat · 29/02/2020 07:03

During the week, we go upstairs at around 10/10.30 and are asleep by 11 or soon after. At weekends it would be the same (maybe a little bit later) unless we're going out - last night we went to a friend's for dinner so it was around midnight.

PhilCornwall1 · 29/02/2020 07:40

7:30pm in the chair, same as every other evening. A tonne of codeine everyday has that side effect. Zzzzzzzzzz

DinoGreen · 29/02/2020 07:51

DS gets up between 5.30 and 6 regardless of what day of the week it is, so we tend to go to bed the same time at the weekends as we do during the week which is about 10/10.30. Sometimes if we’re having a glass of wine etc it creeps closer to 11/11.30 but then I regret it when I haven’t had enough sleep when DS comes bounding in at 5.30.

lljkk · 29/02/2020 08:00

same as other nights (10ish)

Same rule for the teens... which means midnight to 1am (!!)

ExpletiveDelighted · 29/02/2020 08:05

Depends whether we have been out, but I generally go a bit earlier at weekends as there's less to do for the next day, so maybe 11. Usually around midnight on weeknights. We don't necessarily go up at the same time, DH is often later than me.

Mintjulia · 29/02/2020 08:07

10.30ish. I’m a single parent so usually quite tired. My idea of luxury at the moment is a hot bath, fresh bedlinen, and a book Grin

AwdBovril · 29/02/2020 08:11

Between 11 & 12, usually. Weeknights I usually go between 10 & 11. Still wake up at the same time though. Evidently my brain doesn't believe in weekend lie-ins.

JustaScratch · 29/02/2020 08:12

It varies - if we have people over or have been out then 12/1am, but otherwise probably 10.30/11. We have a 6yo and a dog who wake us up at the same time anyway!

Waitingforplastertodry · 29/02/2020 08:15

Not massively different to any other night because the kids don’t get up much later and we have weekend activities that mean we are up and out anyway!

happypotamus · 29/02/2020 08:18

This weekend I am working nights, so my bed time for the weekend will be about 10am tomorrow. Otherwise, the same as week days, between 10 and 11 for me, usually DH goes to bed somewhat later.

BlueJava · 29/02/2020 08:31

Usually between 10 - 10:30pm on Friday/Saturday night. Around 9 - 9:30pm on other nights.

MinnieMountain · 29/02/2020 08:31

Last night was 11.30 as I'd been out. Normally it's 10.30-11 which is 30 minutes later than on weekdays.

We have a 6yo who is up around 6.30 regardless of the day.

Ellapaella · 29/02/2020 08:35

Around 11.30 on a weekend. Later if we've gone out with friends or had friends round (which is usually every other weekend). Then it might be anywhere between midnight - 2am.
Our kids (5 and 9) are old enough to sleep in a bit in the morning now, they usually get up around 8.30 -9 on a weekend.

Itstheprinciple · 29/02/2020 08:38

About 10:30, roughly half an hour later than weekdays. DH stays up a bit later as he is a night owl by nature and DD(13) is the same. I think they came up about midnight last night.

daisypond · 29/02/2020 08:40

8:30 to 9.

AuntieMarys · 29/02/2020 08:42

About 10. But we may not sleep. 😀

Singlemum31 · 29/02/2020 08:45

What time are you waking up if going to bed at 2-3ish?? I used to be such a night owl the thought of going to sleep at 3 and getting up few hours later tho 😒old age has got me ha

PanicAndRun · 29/02/2020 09:05

Whenever we feel like it. That can mean anything from 9 o'clock because we're shattered/poorly or 2 am.

annie9876 · 29/02/2020 09:11

Anywhere between 10 and 10.30pm which is the same as during the week.

DC normally wakes anywhere between 6 and 7am but after they have had their last bottle at 10ish it just makes sense for us all to go to bed together (5 months old so still in our room)

Tend to watch a bit of tv in bed. I fall asleep within minutes but DH often still up playing games on his phone for a couple of hours.

MrsJBaptiste · 29/02/2020 09:18

No different to week nights - 11.30ish - unless we're at friends where it could be 1am.

I'm in the gym at 8am on Saturdays and Sundays so need to try and get atvleast 7 hours sleep before the rush of the week begins again...

hopefulhalf · 29/02/2020 09:21

Usually between 10-11.
