'Leg/arm/chest (ego?) day' usually with a generic gym shot and / or photo of body part referred to.

'Cheeky little (alcoholic drink name)? Don't mind if I do!' with photo of alcoholic drink

'This boy / girl / kid / guy / gal!' And a photo of that person. And that's it.

A massive long list of more things than anyone however efficient could realistically fit into the waking hours of one day, followed by, 'and relax..!'.

'Nom Nom' and a photo of some food.

Any of those sickly sentimental feel good slogans - Love you to the moon and back - yawn, puke!

And this need to post a pic of a prone family member laid up in hospital trussed like a turkey - "he's only gone and snapped his ankle again" - give them some bloody dignity ffs. Seen 3 of these this week.

Well this is a miserable thread! I don't post this kind of thing but I don't mind when other people do. If you find it so annoying then don't be on SM 🤷

Only thing that annoys me is people sharing non official photos of someone missing. I know that may be someone who is fleeing an abusive husband or family.

I have found though that the people who post about how much they love their husband/wife tend to have the worst relationships.

I post holiday photos day by day but generally only for family to see, and Facebook is a pretty good storage facility for photos. I have an irrational fear of losing my phone when I'm on holiday.

I was incredibly proud of DD when she passed her driving test on her 3rd attempt, so that was an update alongside a photo of her holding the pass certificate with the most delighted smile on her face.

I don't like the 'share if you hate cancer' posts. I don't like passive aggressive memes. I don't like the endless stream of supposedly humorous sayings from sites like Soul Sisters, My Feisty Tribe, Mommy Likes Gin etc etc but a lot of my friends do. I just ignore them.

This is why I don’t post anything on Facebook anymore. Everyone is just ready to judge and froth at the mouth about it.

No, I'm not giving a fiver to some charity just because it is your birthday. At least have the decency to tell us why the cause means something to you instead of the generic FB message of this cause means a lot to me.

I don’t mind the posts which actually say what they are feeling and what it’s about. I hate the posts which are looking for comments and questions. Such as “such a bad day, can’t believe this happened...”

last week literally a girl was saying her husband was the best thing since sliced bread now she has left him.
yesterday it was full on oh god my wedding dress what can i do remember my wedding day blah blah
also she was earlier calling him all the bastards under the sun.
if she carries on like this til she is divorced its going to be a long time!
btw my daughter works with her she says everything she says on fb is repeated at work and she has a habit of throwing herself down on a chair out of the blue in hysterics!
