Pet names for children based on food

During DD's friends staying over, I discovered that their parent-given nicknames are all food-based!

Pudding, Pickle, Noodle and Cupcake.

Not uncommon, but I just wondered which other foody nicknames are in use out there in MNland? Can we get through all the food groups?

Sausage
Pumpkin
Sweetie

I was also lovingly called Stringbean by my grandpa

My DD is often Pumpkin. Occasionally Pumpkin Pie. Sweetie is an obvious one but is technically food based. Sweetie pie too.

DS is my little sausage. And often a stinky sausage, grumpy sausage or sleepy sausage.

I know 3 that are known as chutney, courgette and peachy pie

I call dd sausage and my Dad used to call me sugarlump

My daughters is twiglet, and my newborn is chicken legs 😂

Oh no! I've just realised I call DS Chicken! We're everywhere!!

We call our youngest Salty!

My brother and I were sausage meat and lamb chop. My nephew was kipper.

I call toddler DS my sweet pea.

Some of these are BRILLIANT. Humans are so kooky!

DH kind of nicknamed our DC Sausage, Pickle and Dumpling

My DD is usually my flower pot

Spud (not me, a friend’s son who only eats potatoes...)

I can honestly say I've never eaten sweet peas or flower pots...

I call my cat’s ‘chicken’. I’m veggie though so not a food to me 😂

I have a Pickle and a Chickpea
