When you're feeling a bit low? Nothing family or child orientated or outside of the home please.

Get some tunes on and dance and sing like no ones watching, even if they are.

Mammajay · 23/01/2020 18:49

SamVimesFavouriteDragon · 23/01/2020 18:58

A good bath, a treat drink (not necessarily alcohol if you are abstaining - a fancy fizzy drink or really good cocoa with whipped cream Brew is such a treat too!) pyjamas and nostalgic movies... early night, getting ready for bed with a facial massage with nice oils and lots of candles lit... oh I wish! I'm so busy right now but this is what I'd normally go for

I hope whatever you end up doing that t cheers you up Flowers

cliffdiver · 23/01/2020 18:58

Wearing PJs

Having a bath

Watching something comforting, like OFAH / Vicar of Dibley

Stroking the kitten

CocoLoco87 · 23/01/2020 18:59

I'm lying on my bed in the dark pretending I dont have 3 DC downstairs who need me (DH is home from work so he's taken over before anyone panics). Death in Paradise and a glass of wine later. Maybe a bath if I have the energy to turn the taps on.

sunshinegirl28 · 23/01/2020 18:59

Wine and chocolate Wine

Zaphodsotherhead · 23/01/2020 19:18

An entire (small) box of Maltesers.
A very hot, strong cup of tea.
An episode of Lewis/Midsomer Murders.
A snuggly fleecy blanket shared with the dog.
In your PJs, after a hot shower.
Put the electric blanket on on the bed, sit with laptop and flick through one of the 'Guaranteed to give a giggle' websites (like Cake Wrecks or Autocorrect Mistakes).
And then a nice early night. Everything looks better after a good night's sleep.

SunshineAvenue · 23/01/2020 19:49

Thanks for these. Had just had a long bath before posting and am in PJ's.

Can't have wine (dry January) or chocolate (diet), definitely no energy for dancing, too tired for reading. Shattered after work, been on my feet all day. Family worries one after the other, none of which I can do anything about. Bloody fed up!

Could go to bed and listen to audio book/podcasts or watch some crappy TV.

I think I should get out for a mega long walk tomorrow, blow some cobwebs away. That will probably help.

Best Home cook will be on shortly. I'm done dancing so that will fill in the time before bed.
