What's the fugliest thing you've seen in a bathroom?

For reference, fugly can mean either fucking ugly or funny ugly. For this this thread, it's the latter!

For me, it was a cross-eyed teddy in a crocheted dress. It went over the toilet paper like those creepy dolls in everyone's gran's houses years ago (why were people so afraid to see loo roll?), and dear god that teddy looked like it had seen things...

For me it’s things on show that shouldnt be on show.
Like pike cream, fanny thrush cream.
Even tampons to be honest. I don’t want to visit a bathroom and have a years supply of tampax sat next to me.

QueenoftheFarts · 17/01/2020 19:37

Me.

Stayed in a hotel with mirrored walls, floor and ceiling in the bathroom.

Traumatised

rosydreams · 17/01/2020 22:17

The carpeted avocado bathroom Shock

User12879923378 · 17/01/2020 22:20

Louis Armstrong's bathroom (his Queens house is now a museum). Mirrored walls and two toilets facing each other. Whaaaat

AhoyMrBeaver · 17/01/2020 22:20

Teenage son's unflushable megashit.

Pink fluffy toilet seat cover left by the previous owners. Why would you?!

plunkplunkfizz · 17/01/2020 22:27

Who gives a toss about seeing tampons?

WhereDoesThisToiletGo · 17/01/2020 22:29

Pink bath, olive green tiles, and pink and yellow fake tile wallpaper
We bought the house...

BrotherMouzone · 17/01/2020 22:29

This I think

Bockbockcaboose · 17/01/2020 22:30

User12879923378 Can you imagine eyeballing your significant other while you both make the poopdrop face. Grin

Ours when we moved in, red horizontal blinds, red shaggy carpet(!) and a lime green bathroom suite

Iwantacookie · 17/01/2020 22:34

Rosydreams growing up we had that bathroom. Carpet up the side of the bath too Grin

rosydreams · 17/01/2020 22:39

msmith501 · 17/01/2020 22:50

A friend who left her canisten cream on the washbasin - something's you don't need to know

msmith501 · 17/01/2020 22:50

... in our house, not hers

CreekIsRising · 17/01/2020 22:53

DH shitting.

QueenofallIsee · 17/01/2020 22:53

Used sanitary towel on the sink at a house viewing which was grim.
My Nan ended up with a load of knitted clown toys in the 80s and decided their home would be the bathroom. They had their own shelf. Weird boss eyed clowns watching you pee is unnerving

User12879923378 · 18/01/2020 18:50

@Bockbockcaboose hard not to now. The whole house was bonkers and they told us at the end that Mrs Armstrong had completely redecorated everything apart from the study (the only bearable room) after he died so it wasn't even really the house he had lived in!

MustardScreams · 18/01/2020 18:53

@QueenoftheFarts I am very sorry, but that made me laugh!

My friend’s mum when I was early teens had an 80’s naked shot of her in the downstairs loo. AND a toilet brush Shock

CassidyStone · 18/01/2020 19:03

Glittery toilet roll in a friend's house (bought in specially for Christmas). I decided maybe I didn't need a pee after all.

What's the fugliest thing you've seen in a bathroom?
Xiaoxiong · 18/01/2020 19:23

When we moved in our bathroom had aqua taffeta curtains with a ruffled aqua taffeta pelmet. They had hung there so long they had faded in the sun in stripes so it was stripy light and dark aqua when you pulled the curtains.

Also, a couple of snails on the ceiling in the bathroom of a student house share where I went to a party. I guess snails aren't ugly in themselves but it was seriously grim - felt like the bathroom of Fungus the Bogeyman.

MaryBear · 18/01/2020 19:24

I was a cleaner and a customer left a butt plug on the sink. I just cleaned around it!!

ALongHardWinter · 18/01/2020 19:39

MiseryChops. Pike cream?! Grin Do you mean pile cream?

Gogolego · 18/01/2020 20:05

My parents were the proud owners of an avocado coloured bathroom complete with brown carpet when I was growing up . The biggest bath ever but that was the only redeeming factor. The look was completes with pine walls and green tiles

At My friends house the bathroom was bare to the floor boards but still the rusty carpet grips in place

thequeenofsandwich · 18/01/2020 20:34

CassidyStone glittery toilet roll is it absorbent or abrasive...
Asking for a friend Blush

WildRosie · 18/01/2020 20:41

It was the bathroom suite itself. Dark blue, almost navy, and gold-coloured taps. Vulgar and unattractive beyond belief.
