Ginger! My cats are black though as black is the least likely to be adopted and I felt sorry for them. They’re the friendliest cats I’ve ever had too

We wanted two adults and one had to be a black cat .
We lucked out and got Double Trouble !

I am rather partial to the grey with spots Out-of-Africa look.

However, I have always had B&W cats, so I suppose I am much like Postman Pat in that regard.

I do love black cats, they are so glossy and soft. Though I’m currently owned by two lovely calico girls and they are gorgeous.

Black. Always. A little white tache, bib and toes is very appealing, but overall, the best cats are little and black.

Strangely, I've always been inflicted with had various Tabby shades and one longhaired Tortoiseshell and white. --Because I'm a sucker for a hard luck story when it's packaged with cute little toes, whiskers and pointy ears.

But that means a lost little black kitten will always find a home here when it finds it way to me.

My current favourite is ginger because that's what we've got, a big soppy ginger lad.

My favourite ever cat was a little female we had throughout my childhood, she was blue grey with white bib & paws.

Based purely on looks, I adore Bengals.

I've never been that keen on gingers but the photographs on this thread are gorgeous.

@Caramel68 oh I'm so sorry to hear that. They really are special cats aren't they? My boy is SO talkative I swear every morning he tells me all about his pussycat dreams and follows me around all day chattering on and covering me in his floof!

I have a preference for black cats but having said that I adore all cats so in reality I would have a cat of any colour!

Tabby and white here - although I love Bengal spots/tabby!

Ive never had any of the above - I've had cats because 1) the owner was going to drown the ill kitten (gorgeous silver tabby), 2) the rescue centre said she was shy therefore had been hard to rehome (tortoishell no white) 3) she decided to move in and that was that (black and white) 4) I was looking for a cat and she had been dumped at the vets (tabby with big white bib and paws, so not far off!).

The tabby and white I thought of in response to the post is beautiful, and a right thug that attacks my dog when we go for walks

I can understand that. My tabby always made me think of a tiger. She had clumsy paws that you could imagine were tiger sized and walked in a rugged way like a tiger casually prowling and not at all dainty like some cats!

We have two black cats, both rehomed. We have had all sorts of colours over the years, whoever needs a home! Each has had very different personalities too!
