I bought these cushions with some Xmas money I had but I’m just not sure if it looks OTT? Any opinions welcome ☺️

I had some cushions like that, they lasted about a week before I got fed up of fluff everywhere.

They look lovely though OP.

I like them but hate the whole cushions on beds trend, it looks fussy and cluttered.

I’m not crazy about the furry cushions but I love the throw and the pink cushion.

Off topic.....but can you fit that duvet in the washing machine?! I have a large washing machine, like the look of that duvet, but not sure a double will fit in the machine!

The main question is OP do you like them? The best interior design tip I ever read was just have the things you like and don’t worry too much about what goes together etc. It’s your home so just have things you like in it! It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, we all have different taste and you are the one who actually lives there!

I don't like the cushions but I'm really not a fan of fluffy cushions I think they are tacky/belong in kids bedrooms. I also don't think they go with your grey throw. Sorry!

They look fine but would be hideous (for me anyway) to actually have them near my face. Can't see the point of cushions on beds anyway as they just get thrown out at night

That's what puzzles me, what do you do with them at night? In hotels and holiday lets I put them in the bottom of the wardrobe for the duration, with those even more pointless runner things they drape over the beds. I'd like those cushions on a sofa though.

^ Yes maybe smaller though as you already have two big ones.

Presumably you have to chuck them on the floor put them somewhere when you get into bed. On the chaise longue that happens to be by the bed? On a blanket box? Chair?

Update!

Pink cushion never arrived at the store for me to collect so I’m hoping I’ll now get that tomorrow. I do think hopethe whole thing will look so much different/better once the pink cushion is added.

The good news is, having tested them out for a day, the grey cushions don’t moult! Yay!

With regards to where the cushions go at night, I’ll pop them in the corner at the other side of the room. They do serve a purpose though. I like sitting up in my bed to watch TV, read, browse the internet and I must say, the cushions are extremely comfy.

I will hopefully update you tomorrow with a picture including the added cushion.

All you need now is a painting or print above the bed to tie everything together! Make sure it has greys, pinks, plus at least one other colour (a soft green, like sage, would go brilliantly).
