Where can I get really nice pyjamas that don't make me look like a child/utterly ridiculous?

I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, but I want PJs that I feel nice in. Comfortable, but not ridiculously baggy and saggy. Warm, because our house is cold, but none of this fluffy fleecy stuff that makes me itch. No stupid patterns or cartoons. Something a bit more flattering and grown up for sitting around in of an evening, but practical enough for when I need to stick a pair of wellies on to run up the garden. Any ideas?

The white company or M&S loungewear range. Lovely stuff.

Genvonklinkerhoffen · 09/01/2020 21:32

Men's stuff is often less twee. And IT HAS POCKETS

Next

You need to trawl on line

Crawley65 · 10/01/2020 00:25

I think Primark has a really good selection and the ones I’ve bought have lasted well. There are carton ones but lots of tasteful items too.

Gemma2019 · 10/01/2020 00:57

I get mine from Next

splattt · 10/01/2020 01:07

I've got some lovely ones from Primark. They are grey and blue check ones and are very light and comfortable.

BonnyConnie · 10/01/2020 01:28

Sea salt does nicevones

Itslookinglikeabeautifulday · 10/01/2020 01:33

Debenhams do Jasper Conrad pjs (got mine in the sale a few months backs and love them)

ParkheadParadise · 10/01/2020 01:38

Another vote for Peacocks. Their jammies are really nice and wash well.

Spartak · 10/01/2020 01:38

Sainsburys and Next are where I get mine.

AnyMinuteNow · 10/01/2020 01:43

Fatface have good quality material (not plasticky fleece but breathable cotton and brushed cottons) in well fitting plaids, plain and nice patterns, not twee, but comfortable lounging/sleepwear.

Its worth the price because they last so long, same with brands like dkny from tkmax in cottons. Actually tkmax do have a wide selection from the awful to the good quality and style

PurpleDaisies · 10/01/2020 01:45

I really like cyberjammies. Some of the patterns are a bit much but there are lots that are gorgeous. Lovely quality. Great sales too.

No longer care what I look like in PJs. Currently wearing a Primark Slytherin nightshirt that DD bought me a couple of years ago, 5 sizes too big as I have lost loads of weight since, and knackered pair of DDs leggings as I couldnt find my own. If I need to leave the house, into my own garden, anyone who is peering in sees everything they deserve to see!

I will wear killer heels and excruciating shape wear to complete a look no matter what the pain, but with bed/lounge wear.... comfort beats style every time.

dibdabber · 10/01/2020 02:41

Lindex a Swedish brand, direct or via ASOS, have some really nice ones including in organic cotton at very reasonable prices. The quality is great and they also suit taller women which is a godsend. Bigger range if you go direct, and nightshirts. I love them.

Cooloncraze · 10/01/2020 02:42

Desmond & Dempsey.
Beautiful pyjamas with pockets and extremely well made. Mine have lasted a few years and still look brand new

RowenaMud · 10/01/2020 02:55

I really like cyberjammies Lovely quality

I must have been really unlucky. The buttons came off mine. I thought they were overpriced even though I bought mine in the sake!

M&S ones are ok.
H&M ones are dire!

RowenaMud · 10/01/2020 02:56

*sale

TwoZeroTwoZero · 10/01/2020 06:28

I bought mine from tesco and sainsburys. Checked bottoms, with pockets actually deep enough for my whole hand to fit inside, and a long sleeved top. Quite thin though so I wear a thermal vest and leggings underneath.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 10/01/2020 06:37

Sainsbury's. All cotton for about £12, love them.

SallyWD · 10/01/2020 06:59

M and S has pyjamas for all tastes and a huge selection. It's exactly what I'm spending my vouchers on.

Marbles321 · 10/01/2020 07:01

Desmond and Dempsey - gorgeous. Pricey though! Am going to ask for some for my upcoming birthday
