Where can I get really nice pyjamas that don't make me look like a child/utterly ridiculous?

I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, but I want PJs that I feel nice in. Comfortable, but not ridiculously baggy and saggy. Warm, because our house is cold, but none of this fluffy fleecy stuff that makes me itch. No stupid patterns or cartoons. Something a bit more flattering and grown up for sitting around in of an evening, but practical enough for when I need to stick a pair of wellies on to run up the garden. Any ideas?

I like Primark. Their basic pj range is only £6 and washes really well.

Hmm, I love Avon pj's but they might be to twee for you.
I also like them from Matalan, but not got any from there for a while. I tend to get men's bottoms from there and just wear a vest top.

All my other 'best buy' pj's have been from tk maxx so various brands. I bought an absolutely gorgeous plain black set before Xmas for £10. Turned out to be DKNY when i got home and looked at the label. So so comfy and non pj looking .

I love loungewear, next do some lovely sets and I bought quite a few in the sale, knitted leggings, tunics, cardigans, vest tops in creams, camels, greys and pinks, grown up chic. I also buy a bit from Asda (currently wearing a slouchy grey cowl neck and matching bottoms with blush pink next ugg type slippers). Primark are nice too. I do like m&s, Fenwicks and JL but they are pricey but worth it. My other half works away from home, so when he's away I'm far less co ordinated and chic, mostly car themed fun pjs.

Mrsfussypants1 · 10/01/2020 14:57

cat themed, not cars x

Sainsburys, Next, Primark, M&S, Fat Face. I have a thing for pyjamas. I tend to buy the tops and bottoms separately as I can't sleep in anything with sleeves unless its really cold, so I get vests from M&S(buy one get one half price). Primark have some nice PJ bottoms at the moment.

Liberty London, beautiful pyjamas but a bit pricey.

I'm also a fan of Primarks cosy leggings, t shirt and hoodies for chill days at home. Yesterday's chill day was black cosy leggings, oversized white t shirt and next black and white dogtooth snuggle fleece zip up and primark black and white lux fluffy socks. Last day of week holiday, back to work tomorrow so I've thoroughly enjoyed the last couple of days chilling at home.

Not sure what your budget is, but my sister always has the most beautiful pyjamas from Liberty (tbf she works for them), but if you can treat yourself, do it!
I've had some really nice ones from John Lewis this year with lovely detailing as well.

namechangenumber2 · 10/01/2020 16:34

Primark have some lovely ones in at the moment! My favourites are pale blue with stars on them, I just bought the bottoms and now thinking I would like the top too! I think they'd be in the loungewear area, as they're thick ( almost like joggers). I like being cosy in bed!

DesLynamsMoustache · 10/01/2020 16:35

I have a really lovely pair from Joules

listsandbudgets · 10/01/2020 16:45

Try the Primark sustainable cotton range. I've had a few pairs, they've last really well, dont look ridiculous and they're comfy
