OceanSunFish · 26/12/2019 19:34

Yes Smile

CurlsandCurves · 26/12/2019 20:34

No.

DH will be working as usual. So I get some nice food in for me and the kids, bottle of fizz and I’ll be in bed by 11 at the latest.

It’s never been of interest to me.

TowerRingInferno · 26/12/2019 20:37

Yes to ring bells.

Before my bellringing days I didn’t bother.

roses2 · 26/12/2019 20:38

Last year I used a YouTube fake countdown video at 9pm and celebrated with the kids. We had cake and lemonade when the clock struck "12"!. By 10pm we were all fast asleep in bed. Planning the same this year Smile

Piixxiiee · 26/12/2019 20:39

Oo roses2 great idea!

AlphaLemon · 26/12/2019 20:44

Yea! I love the hootenanny! Good background viewing for a crowd too!

Iwantacookie · 26/12/2019 20:46

No no point its only a new year.

WorraLiberty · 26/12/2019 20:48

Yes, I never go to bed before about 1am anyway but I like watching the NYE fireworks.

daisypond · 26/12/2019 20:50

No.

halocompanach · 26/12/2019 20:50

Yes as long as I can find something to watch instead of the horrendous Jools Holland programme.

ChristmasCroissant · 26/12/2019 20:51

Yes, we stay up. We have a bit of a buffet/snacks and drinks and see in the New Year by sending DH out of the back with the lumps of coal and salt etc. We have neighbours that go outside at midnight as well so have a chat with them.

Nquartz · 26/12/2019 20:52

Nah, not since the year I was pregnant as I have an early rising child who doesn't understand the concept of a lie in Grin

Steamfan · 26/12/2019 20:52

No - DH working so will be trying to ignore the fuckwits and their fireworks by going to bed

TeaLibrary · 26/12/2019 20:53

No. Will be in bed asleep by ten.

lilgreen · 26/12/2019 20:54

Depends what we’re doing. Last year I was picking DD 18 up from a house party and rubbing her back while she threw up in the gutter. Fun times.

Istical · 26/12/2019 20:57

@roses2 that's genius 😂

I'll be asleep by 10, I'll stir at midnight to curse the idiots making a noise outside, and go back to sleep 💤

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 26/12/2019 21:00

No. Im too tired by then and it’s overrated. Don’t really drink on NYE. I have a half marathon to run anyway

Em012 · 26/12/2019 21:03

We stay up order a Chinese and have a few drinks and watch the countdown on the tv

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 26/12/2019 21:03

Seriously can't be arsed. It's all a load of fuss about nothing. (You all free to call me a miserable bitch if you choose. I'm ok with that.)

managedmis · 26/12/2019 21:09

I hate NYE so no, I don't stay up.

Smeghead90 · 26/12/2019 21:16

Nope cant stand it full of false hopes of what could be and it never happens. I'll be in bed by 10.

Portulaca · 26/12/2019 21:19

No too tired. Will be in bed asleep by 10.30.

Layoverlife · 26/12/2019 21:20

@Steamfan Fuckwits and their fireworks 😂🤣

jaggynettle · 26/12/2019 21:25

I live in Edinburgh - no point in going to bed early, the fireworks are so loud you'd wake up anyway 😂🎉

Happy Hogmanay when it comes 😊

Fishcakey · 26/12/2019 21:28

Yes. Booooooooring.
