You're not in with the rest of my stash. Nor are you in with birthday stash. Or with the ukelele. Or with the guitar (imagine how tuneful my house is going to be on Christmas day ).

Where else might I have put you??

Having a party with a box of my presents lost in recent house move. Boxes everywhere but which one has the presents. Dh assured me they were in the loft, but transpired that was the bag of random presents for classmates.

Right where it should be, only you're so presented-out that you can't see it for looking.

I'm still looking for last years missing present, I took me about 2 weeks after Xmas to realise it was missing and I still haven't found it

It's probably hiding with the trapper/ear flap hat and gloves set that I got for DS (21). It's the only thing he specifically asked me to get too

Look in the bag or drawer where the wrapping paper is. Or the pocket of what you were wearing.

Where's your, 'I'll just put it here for now' place ?

How big is it? I have one stashed in the garage amongst other empty boxes. The D.C. don’t really go in there.

I also have presents stacked in another empty box in my wardrobe with another empty box on top. And more hidden behind my coats

I lost a hidden present behind my bedside table once.....worth a look?

On top of a wardrobe riiiiiight at the back, that's where my furby was found on Boxing Day 20 years ago

I have been thrown into a cupboard by the front door because you had to hide me quickly. You won't remember me until August.

On top of the wardrobe, or under it. Under the bed. Mixed up in kids toy box or storage box. In kids room if they're little and could have found it? Under the couch. In bedside drawer, in car. Or maybe already wrapped and you're having a gin moment

In a carrier bag with other presents waiting to be wrapped, least that's where I found the lost present I searched the whole house for!

You chucked it in the back of the top shelf in your wardrobe and it is now trapped between an old handbag and really dodgy hat.

in the box with the decorations or Christmas cards or underneath the spare wrapping paper. On the spare bed underneath the clean unsorted washing behind the tv (tv is on!) underneath the table behind the chairs/or on top of the chairs behind the table we only use when we have visitors or in the shed/garage. On the back seat of the car or behind the front seat. In a shopping bag with the tins you have yet to put in the cupboard from shopping because there is no room to put more tins away. under the pile of other presents you have yet to wrap. You left it at random close relatives house to collect later - or you left it there when having a cup of tea with them.
So op have you found it - if so can you tell me where I left mine?

I hide things in my couch. We have a Velcro flap at the back. Could you have done something like that?

Crikey, so many replies! I have wrapped the rest and will have another hunt using some of these suggestions...sure it'll turn up somewhere safe

Ummmmm...it may have been down the side of the ukelele's box, in a carrier bag that blended well with the spare pillows that are also stashed there .

Some of these suggestions have made me chuckle . The pp who said about other musical items...dd1 would like a keyboard at some point in the not so distant future.

I also have new stash place ideas now too...so I can forget even more knowing my luck
