For the last 3 years, there has been a coalition government between the tea-drinking party (other beverages also welcomed) led by Norman the Foreman and the life saving party (led by Kylie). They have got on so well that they have now amalgamated into the tea-drinking and life saving party. They are being interviewed here by the PBC.

The candidates for this election are as follows:-

Lady Prunella Peacock (Accessories party)
Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party)
Norman the Foreman (Tea-drinking and life saving party)
Nigel Garage (Plexit party) (although Playmoland voted against Plexit in the 2016 referendum)
Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party).

Voting opens at 7am (GMT). Any votes cast before then will be disregarded. Voting closes at 10pm.

I will be out at work all day then going to vote, so won't be able to return to the thread until about 8.30 pm. See you later!

Grin we love you @SoMuchToBits thank you for cheering up a rather grim post General Election Day for quite a lot of us.

MoaningMinniee · 13/12/2019 22:55

To be serious for about 90 seconds.... I'm one of the disenfranchised. You could put a stuffed teddy up for election here with a blue rosette attached and it would get in. It doesn't apparently matter that about 17 thousand people voted for Something Else. The 19 thousand that voted for the stuffed Teddy with the Blue Rosette mean that our choices and thoughts are apparently utterly irrelevant.

Can we hear who Norman has appointed to his cabinet?

Assume Kylie is Deputy PM.

SoMuchToBits · 15/12/2019 13:04

Yes, Kylie is deputy PM. Arnold the train driver is Minister for Transport. Priya is Minister for Culture. Rachel is Education Secretary. Bossy Ross is Home Secretary. Father Christmas is Foreign Secretary. Rupert the banker is Chancellor of the Exchequer. Neil the doctor is Minister for Health. Eleanor the expedition ship captain is Minister for Environment. Ken is Minister for Beverages and Len is Minister for Biscuits.

Like the sound of ken and len.

soupforbrains · 15/12/2019 22:51

I feel incredibly demanding, but could we possibly have a photo of the cabinet?

SoMuchToBits · 16/12/2019 08:49

Yes, but maybe in a day or two, as I will have to retrieve some of them from the summer house, and I'm dead tired today after being at work all night! Xmas Grin
