For the last 3 years, there has been a coalition government between the tea-drinking party (other beverages also welcomed) led by Norman the Foreman and the life saving party (led by Kylie). They have got on so well that they have now amalgamated into the tea-drinking and life saving party. They are being interviewed here by the PBC.

The candidates for this election are as follows:-

Lady Prunella Peacock (Accessories party)
Jack Jellyhead (Legalise robbery party)
Norman the Foreman (Tea-drinking and life saving party)
Nigel Garage (Plexit party) (although Playmoland voted against Plexit in the 2016 referendum)
Michael the beach policeman (Law and order party).

Voting opens at 7am (GMT). Any votes cast before then will be disregarded. Voting closes at 10pm.

I will be out at work all day then going to vote, so won't be able to return to the thread until about 8.30 pm. See you later!

Rebrand as the TCRHCnbD+ and lifesaving party (tea, coffee, ribena, hot chocolate, non binary drinkers, +) and you'd have my vote! Until then, I cast my vote for lady prunella.

IpanemaGallina · 12/12/2019 13:58

Oh happy to vote for accessorises.

Any pictures of dogs waiting outside the polling station? My favourite part of Election Day 🐶

Waspnest · 12/12/2019 14:12

Ipanema I live in a small village and bizarrely the polling station for all the surrounding area is in the tiny village hall. We've lived here for nearly 15 years and the same couple and their dog have run the voting in that time. I saw the dog as a puppy, I saw it looking old back in May for the EU elections and I'm sort of dreading going to vote today in case it's died!

FaFoutis · 12/12/2019 14:16

Norman. He looks trustworthy.

IpanemaGallina · 12/12/2019 14:33

waspnest sounds like a lovely polling station. Fingers crossed all is well with the dog. Let me know Smile

CaramelCrunch · 12/12/2019 14:48

Whilst I am very pro tea drinking, I feel we need a change before Norman becomes complacent, so I'm voting for Michael the beach policeman.

wafflyversatile · 12/12/2019 14:48

Well I can dismiss Michael the beach policeman right off the bat. Beaches are no place for law and order. Marajuana and Mahem!

We voted against Plexit already so lets just Kick Nigel into the long grass.

I like saving lives but prefer coffee.

Accessories could go either way. Is it wasteful consumerism during climate crisis or does accessorising expand the number of outfits you have even if you only own one classic little black dress?

Without further details on what the robbed goodies will be used for I don't feel I can vote with confidence for Jack.

I feel politically homeless. :(

It might have to be a big spunking cock and balls from me.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 12/12/2019 15:02

One vote for Lady Prunella Peacock please.

Waspnest · 12/12/2019 16:05

Ipanema, the dog is alive! But at 13 the couple don't know how many votes he has left (so I gave him extra fuss).

britnay · 12/12/2019 16:12

Another vote for Norman

JellicleCat · 12/12/2019 16:22

Norman, of course. Wish I could have voted for the Tea Drinking and Life Saving Party outside Playmoworld.

Laska2Meryls · 12/12/2019 16:26

If tea drinking also includes Wine , ( which I think it might, having seen Normans Christmas party) he has my vote.
Also as I live on an island, im v keen on lifesaving

crosstalk · 12/12/2019 18:08

Is it PR or FPTP?

Is there any chance of further political amalgamations?
Let me know before 10pm please or I'll destroy my ballot.

BloodyCats · 12/12/2019 18:10

2 votes for Lady Prunella please
1 vote for Jack Jellyhead also

I’m on tenterhooks! When will we have the results?

crosstalk · 12/12/2019 18:11

And a vote for Waspnest's polling station dog, may he live forever.

Katinski · 12/12/2019 18:46

Norman the Foreman for me. Strong, solid, no-nonsense name and I bet his builders tea is ace too-none of that arty farty "fruit" tea for Our Norm - or me. And of course he's prioritising life saving too. Good all-round decent chap is Our NormStar

lowlandLucky · 12/12/2019 19:02

Tea drinkers party all the way

ReginaGeorgeous · 12/12/2019 19:14

Bit partial to a handbag and don't like tea, so it's got to be Prunella Peacock for me.

Bigredumbrella · 12/12/2019 19:25

Prunella peacock for PM. The lack of thoughtful accessorising i see with large proportion youngsters will be our down fall. Its a serious issue and we need to do something now. Ds 2 votes for Jack Jellyhead, he's always been a lose cannon!

Widdendream77 · 12/12/2019 19:32

Norman pleaseHalo

WarmFunKindStrong · 12/12/2019 19:32

My vote is for Norman the Foreman...

AShaveAndAHarecutHalfPrice · 12/12/2019 19:34

Law and order party for me

ChessieFL · 12/12/2019 19:35

I love tea so got to be Norman the Foreman!

viques · 12/12/2019 19:40

A Vote for Prunella.

Why is there only one party with a woman leader.

[I think a leaf should be taken from from Finlands book, not only do they have the youngest PM in the world, she is a woman leading a coalition of four parties, each of which is headed by a woman. ]

GO Prunella

Mooey89 · 12/12/2019 19:44

Accessories party here please, I feel strongly that pearl necklaces save lives.
