That’s it. Straw poll. I have a number in my head and it would be interesting to see if anyone else agrees with me.

My mum wears white jeans at 62.
I think any age can wear them what it tells me though is you have no kids or they have grown up and you are not accident prone. 😉

12..

  1. Your kids are grown up. You don't have grandkids yet.

On a serious note, white jeans are timeless, it's what you pair them with that makes the difference

When I think of white jeans I think either 12/13 or 50+ trying to look young.

IdleBet · 01/12/2019 10:50

50 - 60 with dyed blonde hair.

NightLion · 01/12/2019 10:50

60

NoSauce · 01/12/2019 10:51

What season?

In winter it reminds me of Pam of Gavin and Stacey.

Hotcuppatea · 01/12/2019 10:52

Post menopause, so no sudden period arrival.

Either a child, 20ish or 50-60, could go either way! Anything else would surprise me a bit.

NightLion · 01/12/2019 10:55

I'm 52 and peri-menopausal. No way I would risk wearing white jeans.

VanillaSugarr · 01/12/2019 10:55

Grin. Yup! Hats what I thought - 45+ but mainly 60-70 with a navy top and a blonde bob.

I asked my 21 year old DD if she would wear them and she said no, they’re too difficult to keep clean (ie she doesn’t want to be constantly in the university laundry block).

I need new jeans. I am top heavy. A dark top and lighter jeans would look good. But I do think that white jeans (which were a big thing 10 years ago) will stereotype me into a certain age bracket.

Does anyone remember frosted jeans?

How about grey jeans? I’m 30 and I live in mine. They go with everything.

PicsInRed · 01/12/2019 10:58

Absolutely this.

Well, that or you're cycling ecstatically in a tampon ad.

ShiveringCoyote · 01/12/2019 10:58

Bootleg Jean's balance out a big chest

51 and wearing a navy top, white trainers and short dyed blonde hair
Grin

VanillaSugarr · 01/12/2019 11:01

That lady (looks like my mum) is fantastic but what was the stylist thinking? The jeans are too long!

I’m 44 and I’ve been living in my grey jeans for 15+ years. No fucks given if they are in fashion or not.

luckygreeneyes · 01/12/2019 11:07

52 but at least semi retired with highlighted blond hair
