There's a 'rule' somewhere about not after labour day, October something, to wear white jeans.

I'm 48 and have worn white jeans all my life, but not in winter. Hardly ground-breaking!

Another for grey jeans, they are so much easier to keep clean then white, especially with young children.
I'd say teenager or 50+ as an age guard for wearing white jeans.

I don’t think we need to worry about the Labour day rule in the UK since we don’t actually have Labour day. Personally I wouldn’t wear them because I’m a “ public transport type of person” combined with “ messy eater” and those two things in combination would make them a no go. I think 47 years plus though to answer your question.
