This thread is for Black Friday 2019. If you're on the hunt for the most recent Black Friday discounts, find our guide to this year's best Amazon Black Friday deals. Hope this helps, and happy shopping! MNHQ

Hello everyone,

Black Friday is the shopping event of the year, with huge sales from loads of brands giving savvy shoppers the chance to get their hands on some serious bargains in the run up to Christmas.

Quick reminder of how this works: we've selected these deals by scouring the web for bargains that we think MNers will love. We can’t guarantee that every single product has been at its 'pre-Black Friday price' for more than 30 days, but we only pull out offers that seem to us like genuinely good deals on products we know MNers rate.

We do get a small referral % if you happen to buy through these links and, if you post a fantastic offer but don't include a link, MNHQ may edit your post so that other users can easily find it.

Everyone on MN loves their sharks. I don’t have one so no idea.

KTyoupigeon · 29/11/2019 19:27

Anyone have a code for Party Delights please - I saw one as an advert on fb but scrolled passed and now can’t find it

Littledinosaur · 29/11/2019 19:39

@ReeRi I’ve just got rid of my Shark cordless, bought it after seeing great reviews on here. It was absolutely useless! Just got a Miele (not cordless) instead.

ReeRi · 29/11/2019 20:13

That’s what I thought @Stupiddriver1 and the reviews on Amazon are good but which is usually reliable too (I thought)

Haven’t heard of Miele @Littledinosaur - do you like it?

I have a dyson ds04 cylinder and it’s ok but I want something cordless

I was actually intrigued by the robot hoovers but they won’t work with the stairs!

Littledinosaur · 29/11/2019 20:23

@ReeRi unfortunately they’ve sent it without a crucial piece so I’ve got no idea yet.

My MiL has the Dyson V11 and it’s absolutely amazing, so expensive though Sad never thought I’d see the day I got excited about a vacuum cleaner!

ReeRi · 29/11/2019 20:30

@Littledinosaur Yeah the Dyson ones are quite expensive and not even that cheap in the sale so I might wait til Jan sales as I don’t know what to go for at the moment

Littledinosaur · 29/11/2019 20:33

If the Miele is amazing I’ll come back and let you know!

ReeRi · 29/11/2019 20:36

Please do @Littledinosaur 😊

Stupiddriver1 · 29/11/2019 21:53

I have a dyson v6 cordless which I really like. But it doesn’t half get clogged up with human hair and mine is the pet version which is meant to be better for not clogging. Not sure if the new ones are better.

ReeRi · 29/11/2019 22:04

@Stupiddriver1 The filter on my dyson seems to get clogged up quickly and then it loses suction. Which? ranks the Dyson cordless highest of all though they are quite a bit more expensive than the Sharks

OneIsAWorldOfBooks · 29/11/2019 22:36

Has anyone found any deals on nintendo switch games that are worth buying? I managed to get a switch this morning and ordered a labo set for £14.99 on amazon but wondering if there are any other good deals about. Looking for things like pokemon, luigis mansion, mario etc.

BBInGinDrinking · 30/11/2019 02:54

I was also looking for the Sage modern happening one to compare, but without much luck, so thank you @AliceDMumsnet and the gang Brew

Can anyone recommend the best teamaker around, apart from a human getting up in the cold and dark and putting the actual kettle on in the mornings or when awake overnight?!

BBInGinDrinking · 30/11/2019 02:58

And from that link for me, Robert Dyas has the code 15BF19 for 15% off online till midnight on Monday.

TitchyP · 30/11/2019 12:18

@OneIsAWorldOfBooks I'm looking for switch games too, Amazon have a good price on Fifa20 but that's all I've found really. eBay pretty good for games though.

AnyMinuteNow · 30/11/2019 15:30

For me dyson was forever breaking. Forever having parts replaced, and only because paying for extended warranty. Literally nearly replaced the whole hoover with replacement parts!! Ridiculous.

Miele, a lot more sturdy and built for purpose, but even that doesn't do the best for animal hair, it was the animal hair one.

Slatkater · 30/11/2019 19:07

Looking for a desktop pc, nothing fancy mostly for internet use. Anyone seen anything?

ReeRi · 30/11/2019 20:35

The dyson I have is fine. Actually I have two, a dc04 animal cylinder I think and a handheld animal and it hasn’t had any issues but I just think it could be more powerful and I’d like something cordless. I actually use the little handheld one a lot for everyday when there’s mess but I don’t feel like plugging in the big hoover

CrapTVAddict · 30/11/2019 22:38

Some switch games reduced on Nintendo website including recent games like Zelda

ShesDressedInBlackAgain · 30/11/2019 22:55

Took me forever to find kids DMs in a size 3 in stock but I think I have at Soletrader with 10% off with BF10. Otherwise I ws going to have to pay full ladies price for dd who isn't 10 yet Shock

Hopefully when I get them they won't be teeny weeny size 3 for new born feet Confused

DonnaKay12 · 30/11/2019 23:05

Thinking of moving to Rochford - can anyone help? It looks a lovely area and healthier life style than where we are at the moment! My daughter will be using the train line-is it safe on that line? I have mixed feelings of nearby SOS though! Please any comments appreciated

AnyMinuteNow · 01/12/2019 16:55

Found super cheap airpods at CEX, and they have a two year warranty, like new!

Boo Apple and their ridiculous prices Angry

SouthWestmom · 01/12/2019 19:30

Dh bought me tartan lined DMs at Schuh - discounted plus 10% student discount

thenightsky · 01/12/2019 23:48

Donna I'm not sure Rochford is available on a black Friday deal Confused Grin

Onesnowballshort · 02/12/2019 07:00

@DonnaKay12 hi Donna you need to start your own thread there should be a drop down menu at the top. Make sure you put Rochford in the title so people who recognise it will have a read! Good luck

TheQueef · 02/12/2019 08:33
