How much does your household spend? I was chatting to a friend last night about this and was shocked at how much she was paying, we pay £112 per month for super fast fibre broadband, landline, sky including sports and movies, three mobile sim only deals. I thought we were paying a lot but her bill is almost double for very similar!
We could pay less but DH works from home and needs good broadband, sports and movies are worth it for us as we have a child with special needs and don't go out much!!!

Add to that £100 per month on my mobile
£29 on Netflix and NowTV and Amazon per month

MustardScreams · 18/11/2019 12:36

I pay £27 for super fast broadband & line rental.
£10 for unlimited everything mobile contract
£9 Netflix I think
£8 for Prime

So £54 a month in total,

For 2 mobiles £13/month on Id mobile (one £5 and one £8), Vodafone broadband £23/month for fibre 2 Inc land-line, £12/month TV licence, no netfix/Spotify and have free sat for TV. Starting to feel like we should be spending a bit more!

IFartGlitterAndRainbows · 18/11/2019 12:41

£58 on virgin- just broadband and WiFi we have freeview Channels and virgin keep upping the bloody price!
£24 now tv - kids, movies & entertainment
£7.99 Netflix
£25 my phone
£30 DH phone

So around £145 BlushBlush

£170. Full sky package including super fast fibre, sports movies etc, 2 x iPhones, amazon prime and Netflix. It does irritate me that we feel compelled to buy each service but there's usually something on each one we want, sky sports is the biggest frustration as we only need that for F1 Angryand it's only set to get worse with Brit Box and the new Disney out soon.

We pay £40 a month for broadband.
Phones on PAYG, I reckon we pay less than £15 a month for the family.
£12 ish per month music subscriptions.
Don't know how much tv licence costs - is it £140 per year? So about £12 per month.

Roughly £75 a month.

WhoCaresWins01 · 18/11/2019 13:29

Wow - quite a variation there!!! I can't believe how much some of you are paying. We need fast reliable broadband for when DH works from home so virgin works well for us and is worth the extra cost. DH has an unlimited data sim and the other two include a sufficient data allowance.
We always renegotiation our deal every year!

Would love to know the absolute best offer available for sky tv as miss being able to pause tv and record. I know you can get most things on on demand now but not channel 3 which lots of good dramas are on.

BeanBag7 · 18/11/2019 13:38

£27 for SF broadband (sky)
No landline
£10 for my phone, £15 for DH per month
£7 for netflix
£8 for amazon prime
So about £70 a month? But we dont have movies or sport or anything. I think sports ij particular are very overpriced.

balleticspin · 18/11/2019 21:39

£39 Virgin Fast broadband, landline all channels + Sky Movies. You have to bargain with them. I was paying over £100 until I kicked up a fuss.

Groundfloor · 18/11/2019 22:20

1 mobile £10 p/m
Broadband £12 p/m
TV licence £12 p/m

That's it.

I'd do away with the TV licence if I could.

@coldfeetallthetime when did you leave? We once left for just under a year (our freesat box broke after having a few issues through its short life and we hadn't really been enjoying bit tbh so returned it) we rang to ask if they had any good deals to tempt us back and the deal they did have was cheaper than us getting another recordable freesat box. Think it cost us us a good 60 for the year contract cheaper than a recordable freesat box for a lot more content.
