Is there already a thread about the instamum dramas involving MoD today?

CB didn't need to make herself look any more of a victim than she already is. The racism from MOD is disgusting. Posting about being outed as a sex worker though? Really. And to find out she was a fucking pimp. Unfollowed.

DarkDarkNight · 08/11/2019 22:45

Love this from evewornout. Happy to see someone with the bottle to put it on her grid and not hide it in stories.

Nice to see someone with a platform call out the racism.

Aaaaaaaand Candice has moved on. Nothing to see here, thanks for all the support. A master stroke! Unbelievable.

mrscampbellblackagain · 09/11/2019 07:42

Eve is about the only person on Instagram who talks about fashion who is totally authentic and doesn't do any 'gifts' or anything.

I do know her personally so am slightly biased but she is fab.

OopsUditAgain · 09/11/2019 07:54

But CB has now said she felt unable to speak out before because of “how she looks”. Now she’s spoken out (but omitted a material fact that would sway how people feel about her) she feels free and powerful because of the support she has received. She’s deleting and blocking any mention of being a pimp on her feed. I feel like she’s a master at manipulation. Who could question her now? All the instahuns have showed their cards and come out in support for her, based on what she’s chosen to reveal to them.

Babbas · 09/11/2019 08:01

She's an absolute fake. She was not a sex worker, she was the main pimp. Hopefully yours think ad agencies would watch the documentary and work it out! She came across as odious in the documentary and she's exactly the same now. Interesting words such as freedom being used. She's obviously in a mission to secure some woke brands. What an absolute shit show.

Sharonthetotallyinsane · 09/11/2019 08:06

How do people know she was a pimp?

floatygoat · 09/11/2019 08:13

The documentary she was in

floatygoat · 09/11/2019 08:19

CB was profiting from other women having to let any man who could pay have sex with them.

She is the same if not more materialistic/grabby as the rest of the instamums. Just look at her page!

All this woke bullshit is just a tool to get her what she wants. MOD has given her a gift.

MarshaBradyo · 09/11/2019 08:21

Unbelievable. How grabby it all is. I wonder if that freedom will include freedom from those brands handing over £.

Sagradafamiliar · 09/11/2019 08:24

Is the documentary on YouTube? Anyone know what it's called? Surely the fact she's the exploiter as opposed to the exploited can't be denied if it's on film?

OopsUditAgain · 09/11/2019 08:39

Jodie Marsh on the game. I watched the clip ages ago so I can't remember all the details. I think free to view clips were removed online....yesterday. Would you believe it?!

morningdread · 09/11/2019 08:51

I don't know CB or the docu but had read on Tattle about her past. I suppose she could be embellishing on the docu? I do find it interesting that the conversation has shifted to CB.

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 09/11/2019 09:01

I imagine that all of the 'no need to apologise, you did what you had to do girl' are imagining that when she said 'sex worker' she meant cam girl or stripper, perhaps some of them do think prostitute, but I don't imagine any of them are thinking 'pimp'. Sex worker is a deliberately sanitised term as well.

Anyway, I would prefer to see the clips of the documentary before making too much judgement, but if they have been removed then that's going to be difficult isn't it, convenient!

What an absolute shit show. Imagine the Hooper household right now, those poor girls. Again, what was Clemmie thinking, I just can't get my head around it?!

OopsUditAgain · 09/11/2019 09:01

That’s true, she could have exaggerated her role on the documentary. Hard to know what to believe any more.

I can’t believe some of the brands she works with will be happy whatever though. I’ve always felt that using real people as the selling point for adverts is a massive flaw in influencer marketing. People are complicated creatures.

BarrenFieldofFucks · 09/11/2019 09:03

Someone asked her about the pimp thing...spot how long it took to disappear.

I've seen the full documentary available to watch for 1.99 but I'm not paying to see if someone is a raging liar or not 😂. Oh dear. These people are so flawed. Candice has played a blinder but for me it's very transparent and detracts from the wrongdoing which was actually done to her. Maybe she didn't think she'd be supported enough 'just' as a victim of racism, which is sad in itself.
The entire thing is a shit show. I've requested to follow the genuine Instagrammer mentioned above. I hope she accepts my request as when I'm scrolling through my feed killing time for fun, I'd rather spend it on my interests, not wade through fine-tuned bullshit.

morningdread · 09/11/2019 09:15

That’s true, she could have exaggerated her role on the documentary. Hard to know what to believe any more.

Exactly it's all so fake & the only thing you can be sure of is the motivation for anything is ££££. It's ironic that brands decided to use influencers because they are so relatable & trustworthy.

Madhatterhouse · 09/11/2019 09:52

It’s disturbing to me how her blatant racism, and subsequent use of a black woman’s story for her own gain, is being swept under the carpet by the majority of people publicly commenting. Surely that is something no public figure can come back from?

Anotherlongdrive · 09/11/2019 09:57

If MoD has apparently done that as well, I apply that to her as well

She admitted it. So why the 'apparently'?

As an aside trying to get people to feel sorry for you because you have been outed as a sex worker, when the truth is you were a pimp and made a documentary about it is odd.

Not sure if being a pimp is worse. Or exaggerating your role as a pimp to get one telly, is worse

OopsUditAgain · 09/11/2019 09:58

Eh? Who used whose story for their own gain?

Madhatterhouse · 09/11/2019 10:01

For those who need a reminder of what she said about, allegedly under the guise of not being outed on Tattle:

“Candice is often really aggressive and always brings it back to race, priveldge and class because she knows no one will argue with that. It feels like a weapon to silence people’s opinions"

MarshaBradyo · 09/11/2019 10:04

I don’t think pimp quite inspires the same living in own truth stuff that is wanted. Someone is angry enough to bring it all up though so it’ll probably get out.

As for gain it’s all mutual gain. Hungermama with her pic in the papers, the jewellery person - everyone gains, in their own mind anyway.

Who loses probably society ;

morningdread · 09/11/2019 10:07

I think what MOD said was dreadful but the fact she believed that & simultaneously aligned herself & used CBs brand to benefit hers is outrageous plus MOD being all over Tattle would know about CBs big pimpin (allegedly) so that didn't bother her either.
